We stopped by here Sunday 7/28/24. The wings here were amazing! Worth the $$. We also had the potato skins off the appetizer list they were really good. We also ordered a pizza to sample and to take home for later. It had Sausage, pepperoni, ham on it. The pictures on the website made it look really amazing but honestly, it wasn’t. We only had three pieces off of this large pizza and threw the rest in the trash, unfortunately. But honestly, I think it might’ve been one topping. I’m gonna guess it was the sausage. I ordered the regular sausage. I guess that’s what I got although they do give you a good proportion of that big bite sizes. It just didn’t agree with us. I would try again and I would try different toppings and I would leave off the sausage to see if that made a difference. Something really made it bitter to me. And trust me as much as I paid for that pizza which I thought was a little steep you charge 17 something dollars for just a pizza alone then you get $ 3.75 per topping which I thought was a little high, but if it’s good quality it’s it would probably be worth it for a great pizza I will try one more time but the sausage . Now for the service, we sat in the bar because it was open seating the girl that we had really wasn’t a tentative to our table as when she brought the waters one was leaking and she thought it was but then she said no I think it was just me spilling it and left and ended up being a big puddle of water on the table, which was getting my wife’s arm wet and I finally got up and went to the bar and got a towel myself to clean it Up The waitress knew that it was leaking and left it . Not once did we get asked for refills for a water which is all we drank as water and she wasn’t even the one that brought the food as somebody else brought the food out and then on top of that she really never came back to the table, except at the end, I asked for a box for the pizza container for my wife’s leftovers And she just laid the box on the table on top of the dishes. She at least offered to help put the pizza in there since the table was full of clutter, but she didn’t...
Read moreThe overwhelming ratings of people are 4 or 5 stars so maybe we went at a bad time or an off day but we had a pretty bad experience.
We were sat quickly then waited for nearly 10 minutes before anyone came around. It was at noon, so I get that it's busy but this seemed longer than normal.
There were 2 of us and we both ordered Cajun burgers. It's odd that you have to request lettuce, tomato and pickles so, that's on me when it arrived without them and I was surprised. I got the chips which were stale or just old.
Side note: potato chips are included in the enteee but French fries are $2.50 extra? So the business idea is that the cook can slice a potato and put it in hot oil then add salt and that should be part of the entree. But to take the same potato and cut it a different way (French cut) and then put it in the same hot oil and and same salt now costs more?? Regardless I had to ask for potato salad instead because the chips were bad. It took about 7 minutes for the potato salad to come out and he quickly left not giving me silverware.
The burger itself was inconsistently seasoned. It was supposed to have Cajun seasoning on it but the seasoning was on maybe 4 bites of the whole thing.
Joe was not a great waiter. We had to call him over 3 times and he only came to our table 4 times total! We had to call him over to exchange the potato chips for potato salad, call him over to bring me silverware because he forgot before and a third time just to get the bill.
It took about 1 hour and 30 minutes for 2 people to be served, eat their meals and pay. This is definitely not a place you go during a work lunch break unless you have plenty of time.
The music was a bit on the loud side making conversation difficult. Otherwise it was nicely decorated, clean and welcoming.
I probably won't be back. Neither the food nor the service were something where I think, "You know what sounds good?...
Read moreI had high hopes for this restaurant being a customer to their neighbor, my fav nail salon. (Top Nails) Finally, my daughter and I decide to try them for lunch. We ordered a MacNCheese appetizer, I ordered Bone in wings, and she ordered boneless wings with loaded cheese fries. Everything was so dry! All of it! Even the MacNCheese was dry. The noodles were plane with dry shredded cheese on top. My honey barbecue wings were not edible. The skin was thin and chewy, and when I did break through, the meat was dryer than the skin. My daughters were hard as a rock. The only thing we ate was the fries, and they weren't that great, just edible. The time of day was about 2:30pm. That shouldn't matter, but maybe the dinner shift is better. We all know some restaurants have better chiefs on particular shifts. All though our lunch sucked for us. Does it matter if the dinner shift is better? As for service, our server wasn't happy to be at her job this day. She didn't smile and she wasn't polite. Thank you, how are you, you're welcome, why didn't you eat your food, can I discount that for you. She was very blah and did not check on us again after serving us all our food. In fact, here we are not eating, and she was nowhere to be found. We never heard the question, how was everything? We also waited for some time for our check. We knew before we left that we weren't coming back. There are so many restaurants these days and it doesn't take much to lose customers for good. The options are endless. You gotta make that first impression count. In fact, I just remembered we even told our server that it was our first time. We asked what she would recommend, and she had nothing. Must not be...
