I live here in Greenwood Indiana. Me and my daughter wanted to go for the afternoon out and we decided to go to our favorite restaurant Brozinni Pizzeria as me and my daughter was about to be sitting I did let the young lady know do not greet us as guys but for most she gave us a seat in the back where they prepare the pizza what I found to be so upsetting the young ladies that work back there they do not wear gloves one of the young ladies was digging in her hair, digging in her eyes scratching, on her arm sleeves andscratching in the middle of her chest then she waited on someone and then balled up a piece of paper and went to go get a slice of pizza for someone else. I found this to be so unsanitary, so unprofessional I called one of the servers over I brought it to her attention what the young lady was doing she said I will go and get you and prepare your piece of pizza myself. The point is I worked at Dominick's in the deli, were have to put on gloves you go to Papa John's they wear gloves, you go to Subway they wear gloves, you go to Domino's they wear gloves. So why aren't these people wearing any gloves while they're touching on your slices of pizza and baked food. Then they go back and get on the cashier this is so unsanitary. I would not be going back there to eat unless they clean up their act. I found this to be very unprofessional and very unsanitized some people don't care who serve them and what they do with their fingers. Eye care they should be wearing gloves it is so unsanitary this young lady was digging in her eye. I swear to God and she was digging in her arm and she was digging in her chest and she touched the pizza. The little Mexican lady and I hate to say the little Mexican lady she was doing the same thing and serving you this is so unsanitary I don't know why they're not wearing any gloves because all the other restaurants they put gloves on and serving you food it was meant by the sake of God for me to see this because I have ate there three times but I never ate on the side where they were preparing the food and thank God I saw this for myself. But for this young server name Kelly she helped us out by serving us our food but the fact remains nobody is wearing gloves back there while they are preparing and touching our food. People need to really consider that because they be on the cashier they're digging in their hair they're digging in the eyes and they're touching your food other than that the food is great but they need to school them...
Read moreMy four year old son told me this was the best pizza he had ever had after eating there with my husband. My husband mentioned the same to me. As I sit in the parking lot, letting my kids eat the pizza in their car seats, it is good pizza but unfortunately I will never have pizza here again.
We spent over $50 on two pizzas and cheese bread (worth it for the taste!). On the way out the restaurant door my kids asked if they could eat it in the restaurant instead of eating at home (25 min drive). I turned and said “well we can ask!”
I went back up to the counter and received a deer-in-headlights look from the girl at the counter when I asked if we could eat pizza in the restaurant and “order drinks and other things “ (which absolutely would’ve consisted of drinks and a salad for myself, likely a salad for my husband, and possibly a fun dessert to share). Would hv indeed tipped based on entire cost spent in the store, but I should not have to broadcast that in a customer service environment. I waited tables for years and have had lots of Togo orders eaten at my tables)
And as I looked around the empty restaurant, wondered why it was hard for this employee to make that decision. She said she needed to ask her manager.
The manager arrived at the counter, also perplexed by my question even after I reiterated that we would order drinks and other things, she hesitated, and then said something to the extent of: we’re really slow right now, but usually if you have a to-go order you need to take it to go but you can have a seat at a table I guess.
She probably received a deer-in-headlights look in return from me as I said, it’s no problem. Don’t worry at all! And so we left…
Not welcoming, not great response to an easy money making customer question and truly I understand the deer-in-headlights look from the original team member now if that’s the kind of management that they hold here (training is important!)
Anyway, just figured I would share my experience. we just moved up here from North Carolina about 10 weeks ago and we have pizza night every friday. We’ve been exploring a lot of places and I think it says a lot when a four-year-old and a man both have the same opinion when we hv pizza weekly… Great pizza, but not super great...
Read moreWe came here because we love the charm of Brown county and have been coming to town for years. We have never been rudely treated before and are astonished about what happened to us. First time for something though. We ordered our pizza to go since the place was very packed. We ended up on the patio and started eating because it was empty outside and brown county is generally a nice and go easy place.A waitress came out and said she was sorry but we had to leave, I immediately thought they thought we did something bad or something but then she continued to say the patio was closed to everyone. Well we understand that, we had sat down somewhere where we couldn’t be....ok we will move. No we HAD TO LEAVE. But the fact that they didn’t even say that we could stay but would just have to wait for a table inside just blew us all away. To completely ask customers, who just ordered food from your restaurant, to leave for something so simple is a very bad and rude way of business. Being a former manager of restaurants, when I was younger, I would have been fired if I had asked customers to leave instead of politely telling it was closed outside and not offering them to dine inside. So we ended up at the community table directly next to them. Literally next to them. The pizza looked good but it had barely any cheese or sauce on it. Very chewy and lots of grease....more then normal. After eating we all felt sick and couldn’t even finish shopping and that wasn’t due to the rude service. A good business who cares about their customers wouldn’t have asked them to leave but would have said “ I’m sorry the patio is closed right now, would you all like a table inside that we can get together for you all?” I am still baffled about being asked to leave. I saw some other reviews about the owner/ staff being rude and we will not partake in this business again. Our first time there and our last. There are so many more businesses around that appreciate their customers, taste better and actually take care of you. We also send a lot of people to this town through social media and will definitely tell them not to come here, unless you want to be asked to leave after you buy...
