Is there a way to give this place 0 stars? Anytime you order through the drive through they constantly pull you forward just to service people behind you, wait 20 minutes for a hamburger plain and dry. Which 9/10 times is incorrect. & if you order ice cream with your meal they give you the ice cream before receiving your food, so by the time you get it home to your family its melted because we live in south texas 80-102’ degrees on any given day. Like at-least get the food out to the customer then give the customer their ice cream so it’s not melted. Thats just common sense!! Talked to asst manager. She stated “thats how we do things” didn't care about waiting 20 minutes for the burger or melted ice cream… worst customer service in the whole damn town. Why be fast food if it takes you that long to make a burger and leave with melted ice cream ill take my money elsewhere. Or just cook at home myself. I just don’t see the point in coming to these establishments spending my hard earned money on piss-poor mediocre service. We had decided not to continue to eat at this DQ due to the prices. We’ve discovered that we can eat a better dinner for two at Blackbeards Too (two shrimp baskets and salads and two teas $26) for less than DQ (two crispy chicken salads and two teas $30). Tonight we decided to grab ice cream at the drive through. Sat and waited for way too long at the speaker, no answer, so I assumed it was broken. Pulled up to the window and was met with a snippy, “What did you have?” I said, “I didn’t order yet I didn’t hear anyone on the speaker so…” Young lady at the window replied “I told you wait a second!”. I had clearly irritated her or caught her on a bad day. Whoever you are sweetie, whoever hurt you, I hope it gets better. In the meantime, leave that at home when you’re at work. I ain’t the one. My Son and I met up for lunch at DQ. This place stood out. It's very clean, neat and has very friendly customer service. We preceded to place our order. My son ordered the honey BBQ chicken strip basket and I ordered tacos. The DQ server (I think she might have been a manager) brought it to our attention that the Honey BBQ chkn strip was a seasonal product and so my son decided to order the original chicken strip basket. The server kindly brought over our meals we noticed she tossed in a few honey BBQ chkn strip chunks on the side. Needless to say my Son was Surprised and was one Happy Camper! It's the little things that count. I have been to many DQ's in the past but this one has reached beyond our expectation. Thank you soooo much for your thoughtfulness...
