Oh my goodness,,, where should I begin. First I will start off that I am a platinum member, I stay at Comfort Inn just almost every week. We arrive at this Comfort Inn late Friday night. Being somewhat confused on the price, I asked why it was so much considering we always get a good discount . I didn't get anywhere with this it was more of sorry that's just what it is. So I thought I would just wait till check out and get a answer. Then comes Saturday. Oh dear what a night. Just get to bed and all the sudden water is coming thru the ceiling in the bathroom, flooding the floor. Now we can't use the bathroom unless you want to step on soaked towels. Sunday morning. I went to the front desk to find out about our bill again to see why the price was different for each night. Couldn't find the desk clerk , finally found her chit chatting in the dinning area . She had a attitude the moment she walked up not only with the woman ahead of me, but towards me also. While asking her about the price difference the tone of her voice and attitude just got worse. This is our conversation. " I really don't understand our bill why one night was $132.99 and last night was $161.49?" "That is what the charge is for each night." "But I'm trying to understand the difference of basically $30.00 from one night to the next" " With your discount that is the charge." "OK I understand that, but we booked 2 nights same room, same bed, with a bathroom flooding from upstairs we can't even use our restroom because it's flooded and coming out of the room just now the inside handle broke on the door when I open it to come out." " I'm not a manager and there is nothing I can do ." ( I looked at her name tag ) "My name is Mari, would you like for me to write it down for you?" " Yes I would ."
So to whoever reads this the owner, DO,GM,manager for this particular Comfort Suite !!!! I am the owner of 3 successful business. If I were to have an employee to dare treat a guest as we were treated he/she would more than likely not have a job with my company anymore. I do not understand why the rate increase happens when a guest already has booked a room for at least 2 nights. I have never pd more than $125.00 total at any given time. I do hope to see that if I ever do decide to stay at your facility again it definitely it will be a better...
Read moreLoved our experience! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my girls and I were comfortable. Before arriving, I spoke with Jezzlyn about checking in early since we were traveling into Ingleside from Houston. She accommodated me and said that she could have a room as early as noon. The next day, I wanted to extend our checkout, to visit the neighboring island of Port Aransas, St Joe; and Keiran accommodated us as well. Kieran provided multiple options that allowed me the opportunity to create more memory making opportunities for my family. His patience and genuine willingness to assist me was not only appreciated but refreshing. My family and I typically stay in larger chain or luxury hotels and it was our first time staying in a Choice establishment. I will say that my experience with the staff and management rivaled my past experiences. The morale amongst the staff is high and it almost feels like being welcomed into a family. Keep up the good work!! Kieran and the staff are the best!! We will definitely keep this hotel in mind for...
Read moreIf I could give them no stars then I would. The first thing I asked the lady at the front desk was if there were any surprises, no breakfast, elevator not working, etc. What they don’t tell you at booking is that they have no elevator. The breakfast is a horrible grab and go! They have no eggs, sausage, biscuits, toast, waffles, or fresh fruit. The owner should ask himself if this is what he would want for breakfast! I told the young lady at checkout about the problem with the breakfast, and I got no apology. She just laughed about it. It seems to me that the reviews have been written by their family. The first room I was giving smelled of smoke, and all rooms are non smoking. They gave me another room, and it was okay. The rooms have wood floors. I don’t like wood floors in hotel rooms. If someone walks heavy above you, it’s horrible. It’s also uncomfortable. The checkout time is 11am, and I don’t like check outs before 12 noon. I am a diamond member, and the lady checking me in did not want to guarantee me the extra hour. I won’t...
