Tumby's Pizza — Restaurant in Inglewood

Hey Tumby's people! Look at my amazing review of your restaurant on Yelp from 3 years ago. What on Earth have you done? I called in last night to order the exact same pizza I gushed about 3 years ago, except this time you had an EXTREMELY RUDE AND SLOW person answering the phone. Sadly I have to change my 5 star review down to 1. And that's only because zero stars isn't available. Your people working last night were so incompetent that we couldn't even complete a simple order of 1 large pizza with 2 toppings. I had to tell your phone guy no less than 3 times what toppings I wanted. By the 3rd time repeating myself I let him know a problem was developing here. But I still hung in there. At the end I asked him how much my order would be (because I had a bad feeling about this). He then took way too much time, then over "calculated" by $4. How much in math skills does it take to say $9.95 for a simple $9.95 pizza???? Unbelievable. Without even arguing I then asked to speak to a manager. I still very badly wanted my BBQ chicken & anchovy pizza. The supposed manager then came on the line and proceeded to berate me while defending the phone guy, saying I'm being too hard on him. At this point the convo just spiraled downhill and "manager" hung up on me.

Tumby's! Who are ya hiring over there? I have a feeling that said "manager" may not have really been a manager at all, but just another flunkie worker. But I'll tell ya what- I just can't ever order again from Tumby's, much less continue to recommend the place. Your service has gone to hell. And g-d only knows what's happened...

We visited Los Angeles from Fresno California coming back from picking up my daughter from the monster x concert at the Kia forum coming back to our hotel my daughter was super hungry so passing by we noticed a tumby's Pizza and a Jack in The box we decided hey we always have Jack in the box let's try this Mom and Pop pizza place . To my surprise the staff was super friendly and their customer service surpassed any of my expectations the way they made my family feel was heartwarming a young lady and a young man with long hair just gave off the best vibes to the point that we forever hold them and they're still in our hearts so if you're around the area please say hello to these two kind and amazing souls that work there and their Pizza that's the best part the pizza was so darn good the wings were amazing best believe and we're in the area again or stopping at our new favorite pizza spot in Los Angeles thank you for...

OK. So I picked up an order for someone else and the food smelled great. So me and my lady said we should try this out. So we got two large pizzas. My lady got sausage and pepperoni. And I got sausage pepperoni olives and garlic. Firstly atmosphere and customer service is good. As for the pizza we both agreed the ingredients were fresh and had flavor. But the sauce was so bland it took away from everything the pizza had going for it. My pizza had no cheese. I dont eat cheese. My lady had cheese. We both said something was missing. The sauce taste like bland tomatoe sauce. So much so we wanted to try another pizza to make sure we weren't tripping, because I dont think we've ever tasted sauce that bland . Overall pizza wasn't terrible just needs some seasoning. 2 large pizzas about 34 dollars. Cool establishment Overall. Just...
