Wendy's — Restaurant in Irvine

Haven't been to Wendy's in a while but kids wanted a meal that will result in them getting a milkshake at the end. So, Wendy's it was. 2 visits in as many weeks - and both times orders were screwed up. Ordered 2 kids meals with orange juice and other things for adults. Luckily, kids wanted to eat right in the car at the parking lot just for us to discover that there was only 1 kid's meal and no juice at all. Drove back to the drive-through and the employee said that everything is correct because she only charged me for 1 meal. Well, it is not correct if the customer orders two. Not to mention that beverages were not found in the order. Same order. We felt very rushed to order, to pay, to leave basically. Also, very hard to talk to a person in the window when they are already talking to the person behind you. Drove to a pick up window and here a carousel of employees started, handing me parts of my order until the last person wishes us a nice day and we drive off. Upon coming home we found out that there was no soda that we ordered, 3 napkins for all of us, no spoons or straws. Yes, if you are serving juice in a bottle for the kids, you should provide straws. I know it may sound petty but when your kids are hungry and you trust employees to simply provide you with the things that you order, this is frustrating. We all appreciate food service employees working during these merky times, but it makes it really hard to come back to the establishments that can't handle their basic tasks. $30 spent each time. 0...

This was a fast and efficient Wendy's. I need a place to write for an hour so, I started looking for a place. I never thought about working at Wendy's before. Decided that the food was more important than the ability to write, but I did take my computer in with me. when I got in there and got my food I realize there's a long table by the window that has plugs under every single seat for writers to use. This will be a new place that I will hang out quite often. The food was extremely tasty. To my utter surprise, the double stack I ordered look just like the picture. the Buns were fluffy the meat was tasty the cheese with perfect and it had the most delicious tomatoes and lettuce on top. The fries were uniformly cut and deep well in ketchup . I also had my wonderful dessert a small chocolate Frosty. You can't get a better meal than all of that. What was my cost? $5 and some change.. for those of you with handicaps or size restriction or children or anything else we would be looking for different types of seating they had tables and booths and Tall chairs and short chairs and anything in combination might want. Is actually one of the best and cleanest Wendy's I've seen in a very long time. If you like my review...

Most Wendy's I go to tend to knock it out of the park with service. Burger not done right? Here's a new burger. Wendy's is one of my favorite fast food places for affordable prices and options. This Wendy's is a big of a disappointment.

I went through the drive through and saw "Add Avocado to any sandwich or salad, $1." Sweet. I'll add it to my burger just to be a little bit healthier. I'm charge an extra dollar which I gladly do. I bite into my burger and no avocado. I go in and the manager apologizes for the misunderstanding and gives me two packets on the side.

Is this acceptable? It's okay I guess but not what I've expected from Wendy's. I would have expected the burger remade and avocado added. I would have gladly traded in my bitten one to get what I paid for. I didn't pay for extra avocado on the side but on my sandwich.
