Bombay Sizzler/Tikka Taco — Restaurant in Irving

I was very disappointed with this place. I was excited to go here and check it out and was in a great mood coming in, but I left almost crying. The servers are incredibly rude and unfriendly. We asked them for a few minutes at the beginning when they asked if we were ready to order. They seemed to be in a rush even though several tables were empty and it wasn’t busy. They didn’t give us much time and rushed over to ask us again if we were ready right when my family and I were in the middle of taking a few pictures. I was taking pictures with my toddler aged son when they rushed over to ask us if we were ready. They messed up the picture since they interrupted right at that time. Since the place wasn’t busy, they could’ve politely waited until our picture taking was over. We had already told them we needed some time and they didn’t seem to want to give us time. It also very much seemed like they didn’t like us taking pictures. We hadn’t gone out in a while since we usually eat at home. We were there to have a good time with family and they completely ruined our night with their unfriendly and rude attitudes. As much as they were in a rush, their service was horrible. My husband said he was interested in getting an alcoholic beverage. One of the waitresses said they would look into it since my husband asked for a drink menu. He never got a drink menu and he never got his drink. My husband was upset and decided to just have a beer at home afterwards. They were very unfriendly the whole time. We usually tip very well at restaurants but we couldn’t do it this time. It was just a completely horrible experience. One star is a lot for this restaurant. Went for lunch buffet , costing $11.99 + plus tax. The food was cold and dry with no flavour what so ever. When I checked with the waiter he informed that they had switched on the heat just couple of minutes back and food needs to be scooped from bottom of the container (this is around 1 pm lunch time , so when we're they planning to keep the food hot ? After the buffet?) Food was old and stale, at least they could have served it hot. There was so little food in the cotainer in first place. No food was refilled , even water refill wasn't asked by the waitress.

The waitress there is extremely rude and impolite. No cleanliness as well, she ties and unites her hair several times and didn't wash her hand and continued placing plates , cutlery , etc on the table. She was printing checks and literally threw them in each table with no interest to serve the customers. Same applies to the nan brought to the table as well. It is just tossed on to the table.

They were performing some restoration work in the middle of the restaurant while customers were having food. Drilling , dust to top the stale, old, cold food. WOW, shouldn't the restaurant be closed for restoration as it is risk for customers due to food contamination. Health violation in every way.

If you don't care about your health, taste buds, dinning experience and cleanliness please visit this restaurant. This was my first time here and would be the last time too.

P.s. I dine out more than 3 times in a week. Haven't seen such a don't care attitude waitress ,cold and old food, unclean...

My family and I have been to Bombay Sizzlers multiple times, but from our last experience we will NEVER go again! We sat at our table for more than 10 minutes before we had to call a server over just to get water. Once we were ready to order we had to call the manager, ( I believe his name is Vikash), to our table. He seemed to be ignoring us the whole time, but we would only call him over just because no one else would come wait our table. When we finally received our food it was room temperature at best, and the naan were as hard as rocks. We had ordered a veggie biriyani that never came out even though we told by the manager that it was on its way. When speaking to the owner (Mukesh) about this incident he simply said, "I can go get it made and bring it to you", but WE WERE ALREADY DONE EATING! We didn't even receive an apology for their mistake! Even though it was just 3 people at our table our total came out to over $130 dollars for terrible service and disgusting food! Bombay Sizzlers' Mukesh and Vikash do not know of customer service as their restaurant operating skills are clearly lacking of it. BOTTOM LINE is that Bombay Sizzlers is a place you go to if you enjoy eating disgusting food and receiving terrible service.
