First of all, the hours state they are OPEN until 10. We arrived at 9:45 coming into town from a long trip looking to make a to go order. The doors were already locked.
We went back for lunch today. There were several people working, 3 available to help through the salad line and it seemed no one wanted to. Finally the girl who did help looked like she hated life. My salad was made sloppy and my cup of soup bowl was dirty. Our glasses for our drinks were foggy and wet indicating they had been washed but they were turned upside down which could harbor bacteria if not aired out properly. Once I dried it with a napkin, there were water stains and smudges.
as we ate and people left, tables were not bused or cleaned off. A man spilled his drink trying to clean off a table himself to eat at and still no one came to his aid or offered to replace his drink. We then went to the bakery counter to get dessert. There was one person working it although like I said earlier, there was someone standing at the register for an empty salad line and the girl who helped with soups went to the back. One man kept walking back and forth but did not offer to help the individual behind the counter. Because the bakery worker was alone he kept walking away from customers to get boxes for to go desserts as they were speaking. He also had to manage the register. The line was backing up almost out the door so we left.
I personally have worked at a la Madeline and I've been to several in different cities. This had to be the most poorly maintained and run location I've ever visited. The customer service was below par and the functionality of workers and roles was non existent. Hopefully changes can be made to ensure a cleaner environment and enhanced...
Read moreThis morning February 17th 2022 we ordered a breakfast brunch for four Quiche Lorraine ham and cheese squares and fruit. When I arrived or takeout order was in a Staples bag so trusting the restaurant grab the bag and walked out to the vehicle something told me to check the bag so I did and we had quiche florentine instead of Lorraine and I took it back in the manager said sorry I'll get you the right ones. So I left drove all the way home got home took everything out of the bag no fruit. Went back to the restaurant mean while my wife is on the phone trying to contact the restaurant and no answer I get to the restaurant walk-in ask to speak to the manager manager says sorry about that let me go get the fruit. Put it all back in the bag and says sorry about that again. Meanwhile an hour after ordering our food we still have not eaten it because I'm driving home from the restaurant. Why can't they just get the order right in the first place so that we can sit down and eat our warm breakfast and not lose an hour out of our day having to fix this $29 order. Nothing else from the manager but a sorry. Ridiculous. Have some training with your folks get it right so that people aren't having to waste their time money gas Energy and health over...

The soup was anything but fresh, and the croissant felt like it came straight from the grocery store—definitely not the flaky, crispy treat I was hoping for. It seemed like they were cutting corners, and unfortunately, it really showed in the food.
I ordered a strawberry Romanoff, but they served me such a tiny amount of sauce that I had to ask for a refund. Honestly, the quality just wasn’t there; the soup tasted old and reheated, and the portions were on the smaller side. To top it off, my coffee was cold, and the bread felt stale. It’s a shame because I was looking forward to a nice meal, but this visit left a lot to be desired.
I gotta say, my experience at this restaurant was a bit of a letdown. It feels like they’re cutting corners, and unfortunately, it's the customers who end up paying the price. The food was just so bad, and I left stil hungry because i didn’t eat anything and what little I ate gave me the biggest ache in my stomach from oils soup, that I definitely could’ve done without. If you’re thinking about dining here, you might want to reconsider. There are plenty of other spots where you can enjoy a meal without the disappointment....
