I've found a true gem in Little Katana Sushi at Las Colinas! This place undoubtedly offers the best sushi experience in town. The 'In and Out' roll and 'Salmontorch' rolls are personal favorites, not to mention the exquisite Nigiri sushi. I ordered trio salmon and trio tuna! The moment you take a bite of the tuna and salmon, they simply melt in your mouth. What's truly impressive is the opportunity to savor the distinct flavors of different parts of the tuna and salmon. Furthermore, seeing the generous amount of real wasabi, not just the usual chep powder, was another delightful surprise. Real wasabi is quite expensive, which is why I've rarely encountered a restaurant that provides such a generous serving. I noticed that this restaurant is under the same owner as Sasa Sushi downtown, which I absolutely adore, makes the experience even more special. Since Sasa Sushi is bustling all the time, I feel lucky to have a place like this close by, where I can indulge in some of Sasa's signature dishes. I visited during lunch, and even with the crowd, the service was top-notch. I can't wait to return for dinner and explore more of their fantastic menu. Little Katana Sushi for bringing an authentic and exceptional sushi experience to Las Colinas! 🍣🍱🥢

My wife and I just ate here for lunch, and we weren’t expecting we’d find a gem like this amidst the many food places around Las Colinas. We ordered calamari for starter, special dragon roll, and grilled salmon bento. The food is impeccably timed—they really serve the food with great precision one after the other. We asked a small plate so we could share everything we ordered. The front of the house is a Japanese gentleman who very politely directed us to where we should sit. The menu was very organically put together, and to fastforward, our orders were nothing but perfection! The servings were right, the sauce on the roll was of right amount, the tempura was nicely cooked and nit oily at all. I believe it’s a family-owned business because they work as a unit, less more like a team but more like a family. Our server is a Latina girl, not very smiley but very efficient. And, the luncheon experience was just great. Try it if you are looking for a good Japanese resto in the DFW complex— it’s the best we’ve been to so far from Dallas to Ft. Worth including its middle cities. It won’t disappoint. It’s also decently prices for its quality. It would be more expensive to eat food like this in Japan than here in Irving.

I visited this place for a weekday lunch with office colleagues. The place specializes in Japanese Cuisine and located in Las Colinas, Irving. Here is my perspective about the place. Food (4 out of 5) - I tried two of their dishes which were: 1. Veggie and Tofu Bentos - This was a full meal which contained in house salad, miso soup, 4 pcs of veggie tempura (onion and cucumber), Avocado Roll, Mashed Potatoes and Tofus glazed in Teriyaki way. I loved the Tofus and Veggie Tempuras. Avocado Roll and Soup tasted average. The presentation of the dish was amazing. 2. Osaka Miso - It was a type of Ramen and had SoyBeans. It tasted a bit bland to me and so I added chilli sauce into it. After that, it tasted good. Service (4.5 out of 5) - The staff was very courteous and welcomed us with the lovely smiles. The service was also pretty quick. Ambience (4.5 out of 5) - The place gives you good vibes and you feel like you have come to a very fancy place even though the prices are very reasonable. The overall experience was good and I would recommend visiting this place for sure.

A friend introduced me to this place over the weekend and I already cannot wait to go back! A trek for us too, but well worth the drive. Everything about this place was superb. Astounding service, truly fresh fish that melts like butter in your mouth & fair pricing! We started off with some spicy garlic edamame & the dumpling miso soup (not pictured) and both appetizers were very tasty. Then we moved on to split 3 rolls & a combo variety of sashimi (8pc, also comes with a miso soup). Truly, everything was SO good. We both like a lot of ginger and our sweet waitress literally brought us a plate FULL of it! I thought it was a bit silly at first but in reality we really ate nearly a cup of sliced ginger. Our waitress was the star of the night. She was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We each had a cocktail (me, Geishas Kiss) and it was just Meh -- nothing special. This was probably the only thing I wouldn't get again. The paper straw's have got to go, they just disintegrate into your beverage. Overall, I can't wait to go back here for dinner again!

Little Katana Las Colinas is a decent option for those seeking a quick lunch or a nice dinner spot. I recently had a chicken teriyaki bento box from this restaurant and overall, I would say that the meal was good. The chicken teriyaki was definitely the highlight of the meal. The chicken was cooked perfectly, with a nice, juicy texture and a flavorful teriyaki glaze. The salad that came with the bento box was also fresh and tasty, and it was a nice complement to the chicken. However, I found the tempura and rolls to be a bit bland for my taste. While the food was fresh, it lacked the depth of flavor that I was hoping for. The tempura was a bit too greasy for my liking and didn't have enough seasoning. The rolls, too, were a bit underwhelming and could have used more flavor. Overall, while Little Katana Las Colinas is not a top-notch Japanese restaurant, it is still a good spot for a quick, satisfying meal. If you're in the area and looking for some good chicken teriyaki or fresh salad, this restaurant is definitely worth checking out.
