I find it odd how much a review can change in less than a year from my previous 4 stars and a positive review, to my updated review below.
Normally I would give this Sonic 5 stars because of their efficiency and fast delivery of food to my car. However in the past ten months, their efficiency has been replaced with ineptitude as they've consistently not been reading my incoming Sonic app orders. i.e. I ask for mustard on my burgers, but typically will receive ketchup or mayo that were not requested. Or when I request my most ordered item of unsweetened iced tea with easy lemon via the Sonic app on my Route 44 drink, over 3/4 of the time I receive sweetened iced tea with anywhere from two wedges to an entire lemon worth of wedges (8 wedges). Since this locations dining room is still not open since Covid, and this location does not have stalls either, all orders have to go through the drive-thru, even app pickups. So in going though said drive-thru, I confirm that I am picking up a Sonic app order, and even though I confirm every aspect or modifications, they still can't seem to get things right over 75% of the time. Additionally, I've had to deal with an inefficient and argumentative person who identifies herself on the drive-thru speaker by the name of Bobbie (but who wears a Brenda name tag), who I've been told is a manager of some sort. When I've either gone back through the drive-thru or called about incorrect orders, she has a tendency to get argumentative and snide like it's our fault that the order was wrong. Do not ever expect to get a replacement or refund when Bobbie/Brenda is on shift. With all of the above issues and then some, when I have extra time, I've just been going 2 miles away to the Market Center location on 635 & MacArthur, even though it's way out of my way, just to get a correct order with a smile on...
Read moreI visited this location on 07/24 for drinks for our staff at Chick-fil-A as a part of our team member appreciation week. The drinks were wonderful, no issue at all there. However, the customer service was horrible! I ordered one specific slush and requested sweet cream be added to it when I arrived (if it was possible) as the option wasn’t listed in the app for slushes, only drinks. The woman on the headset at the time was extremely rude and stated “We don't have sweet cream, I don’t know why people keep calling it that.” I assumed I may have been asking incorrectly so I asked what the cream they use for the drinks is called, and again she said, “We don’t have a sweet cream, I don’t know what you’re talking about and I don’t know why people keep asking for it/calling it that. We have half and half creamer, the kind you put in coffee.” I told her never mind as I could tell she was becoming irritated. When I got to the window I pulled up the app and showed the woman there what I was referring to. She too advised that they don’t have that and offered me half and half. I accepted the half and half and she asked the woman on the headset for some. The woman on the headset told her (quite loudly) that she’d already told me they don’t have sweet cream and was insistent on figuring out why I was adamant about having it. It isn’t really a huge deal but the whole interaction was just extremely uncomfortable and I don’t appreciate being spoken to in such a condescending manner. Read moreI would give a zero if I could. The past two Sundays in the early evening we have dealt with the most incompetent staff I have ever witnessed.
First Sunday, order a burger and say I ONLY want Bacon, Lettuce and ketchup. No cheese. Never got made properly. They remade the burger 4 times until I finally just tossed it back to the window and said forget it. Something had to have been wrong with all Members of the staff. I get mistakes happen but 4 times and I look you in the eyes and build the burger for you and you still get it wrong? Come on.
Now today, I didn’t even bother with the burger again as I knew it would be the same routine and I would shave years off of my life if I had to go through that again. So I order chilli cheese tots, mozzarella sticks, corn dog, ocean water, fries, cherry limeade. No modifications.

Drive through worker could care less. Would rather continue to gossip a with her coworker and be on her phone.
