Unfortunately hate to type out this kind of review but decided that it is worth mentioning. This is our 2nd time dining here. We tried this place out last year as we come to town for Texas2K each year. We LOVED our experience last year and since we did, we decided to come back for round 2 tonight since we are back in town for 2025’s Texas2K. Everything went great until it became an awkward situation and uncomfortable. I called to make a reservation this morning for a large party of 13 people (including kids). They were able to accommodate us. We arrived and were seated. A few people in our party were not able to attend after all in which shortened our party down to 6 adults and 4 kids. We ordered our drinks, food and ate like normal. Everything was great. Waitress was great. We then decided on ordering desserts. Once those came out, we all noticed a shift in attention from staff and a different attitude from all of the staff. Before dinner came out, another waitress came to our table and rudely began removing the empty wine glasses from the table looking at us up and down with a certain ‘look’ on her face. We finished eating and the waitress was nowhere to be found to get our tickets to pay so we talked and chatted and waited but while doing so, we noticed the staff talking amongst themselves and looking back continuously to our table over and over. Waitress finally came back and we told her we were ready for our tickets and how the bill was going to be split (mind you, i also informed the person who took our reservation how the bill was to be split.) she waited around right behind us hovering while we revised our bill to ensure everything was correct. While paying, one of the babies became a bit fussy thus having my sister in law stand up with the baby in her arms while the rest of stay seated paying. This made the rest of the staff be ‘on guard’ just staring at our table and whispering. We finally paid all the tabs and got up to leave and i personally heard a male and female talking low amongst themselves and just staring at us and when he saw me approaching he told her to hush because we were right there. Leaving the lobby, again, other staff just looked at us up and down and we felt we were racially profiled as a typical large party that maybe has bad raps for not paying? Either way, an ENTIRELY uncomfortable and unsettling experience from a place we used to actually enjoy. Also, mind you, our bill alone was $200+ so we spent a great amount of money and not anything typical about a non-paying group. Our party easily spent $600+ tonight in total to be treated and profiled like we did tonight. We sadly will not be returning to this establishment because to us, no matter how good your food is, the ultimate experience is how the customer is treated and for that alone, this killed it. The tip was also trash because of how we were treated as a domino effect. It’s 2025, humans are humans and being racially profiled doesn’t sit...

Mr Taherzadeh spoke with his corporate office, found where the misunderstanding occurred, and made good on the original offer. I am satisfied and appreciate that the Ranch has proven its commitment to excellence, not only in food but also in service.
I highly recommend them for a great dining experience and eagerly look forward to my next visit! The Ranch at Las Colinas: Disappointing
I do not typically write reviews and am saddened that I have to write this one, but The Ranch at Las Colinas has left me so dissatisfied I have to. I'm writing this review, not just because of my recent disappointing experience, but also because of the long-standing issue that has left me frustrated and doubtful I can continue patronizing one of my favorite restaurants.
As a loyal patron of The Ranch since 2018, I've always appreciated the restaurant's commitment to quality dining. The food is delicious, and the service by the hosts, servers, and bartenders is excellent. Over the years, I've hosted countless family gatherings, entertained out-of-town guests, and even celebrated work milestones in their private dining room.
However, one ongoing experience has left me deeply disappointed. A simple promotional offer from 2020, intended to support the restaurant during the pandemic, has turned into a years-long ordeal. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue of a missing gift card, I've been met with indifference and a lack of accountability.
In April 2020, during the height of the pandemic, I participated in one of The Ranch at Las Colinas' promotions to support them during the COVID shutdowns. The deal was simple: purchase a $100 gift card and receive another $100 gift card for free. I purchased and received the initial gift card, but the restaurant never delivered on their promise of the free gift card of equal value.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits, I've been met with silence and inaction. Contacting everyone from a division that I was told oversaw the promotion to managing partner, Joe Taherzadeh, I've received excuses that have ranged from directing me to different departments to simply ignoring my inquiries.
My recent dining experience at the bar was the final straw. I finally decided to use the original gift card, hoping to put this ordeal behind me. However, the card was declined, leaving me frustrated and disappointed.
The Ranch at Las Colinas has not only failed to honor its commitment but has also shown a complete disregard for customer service. I urge potential patrons to reconsider their choice and seek out restaurants that value their customers and uphold...
