The rooms could use some soap. They don’t have any type of amenities at all. Thankfully, I was only there for one night. this was the most horrible night I have ever experienced in any hotel ever! my initial interaction when I first checked in was great. The lady who checked us in was very nice and everything seemed like it was gonna be OK. property seemed pretty clean for being a budget type hotel. However, my nightmare started around 10p at night. I was exhausted from traveling and had only had three hours of sleep. I showered and was in bed by 9:30. The walls are paper, thin in that hotel. I could hear everything my neighbors were doing from shuffling stuff around, to bottles, clinking, to walking back-and-forth, to their full conversation, kids screaming, they’re loud voices, laughing, etc. It progressed into the midnight hour at which point I walked down to the front desk in the lobby and voiced my irritation with the front desk. he called up to the room and they said that it was not them. However, I already had a video in my phone. The front desk person told me to go ahead and go back to the room and if it continued, that I could just call down and I didn’t need to come down. as I was walking back to my door, I could hear my neighbors from the hallway. It was disrespectfully loud for 12:15a. they were talking, clanking bottles, laughing, and talking very loud. I proceeded to record again because it appears that they didn’t believe me. I went back down to the front desk immediately and showed him the video and as I was talking to him, one of the people next-door (a man) was staring at me, trying to intimidate me while slamming eight bottles of water onto the counter and interrupting my conversation with the front desk person. He left, and I then asked the front desk person to accompany me so he could hear what I was talking about. He knocked on their door and told them that it was after midnight and they needed to keep it down and the same guy who started yelling at the front desk guy telling him this is our normal voice and the front desk. I proceeded to tell him that it was very loud that it was heard all the way down the hallway and to please lower it . They eventually settled down.
but then… between midnight and 4 AM, 3 separate times, Random men , we’re banging on not only my door, but other doors and also trying to get in my room with a key card. Hotel staff did nothing after I called down. I was told “sorry” several times and that he knew that they were disturbing, yet they were not removed or asked to leave or anything. At that point, I felt very unsafe as a woman and alone with a child that I ended up calling the police department at 4a after one man was standing at my door for a long time after I yelled ho away , i’m calling the police. The doors have peep holes so I was able to see them standing there.. horrible experience, with 2 hours of broken sleep. after trying to get a refund for the night, I was told that because I prepaid through a third-party that it could not be done and best they could do is give me hotel...
Read morefront staff upon my arrival said “can I take king bed room with pullout couch ?” I am like no we are 3 people we can’t and my reservation is for 2 queen bed . And then she took my ID and hide it where it was not in my view . After a minute I asked her to keep ID where I can see and is in my view . She got angry and said I have to enter the details and after repeated request she said I am doing my job and there was no need for me to be rude .Really I am a diamond member and have all my details already in system. And why can’t you keep ID where I can see rather than keeping it somewhere I am not comfortable. And enter details as long she want . My request was keep Id where I can see rather than place somewhere hidden on other side . Then she gave me a room whose room key won’t work . I went to the room and came back to ask about it and she came upstairs and opened it with master key . I asked why did the room did not open with my key she said “ the lock is broken and she don’t have Maintanance to fix it “ . She knew it all the time about it but didn’t say a word about the same . We took all our luggage upstairs and then have to comeback again to take another key. And when I asked if I have to go out and come back how will I get in the room ? She said I have to ask front desk to do it every time I come really . What about my privacy should I take her permission to enter the room . Then she said I offered you other room you did not take it ?? You did not say a word : and when the lock did not open with key you said nothing you came up and opened the lock with master key and then said it is broken really you knew all this all the time should have spoken about it at first . Rather than troubling us .. I drove 4 hours away and had early morning flight to catch and all this hassle .. anyway ended in king bed and my wife has to sleep on couch for couple of hours we stayed . She need to learn to be more professional and treat customers with respect . And stop lying to them and take them for fun ride. I felt so humiliated by her actions as if I am a...
Read moreCame back to our room on our second night, and towels/washcloths were not replaced. My son and I had talked about how strange the shower faucet seemed, and how we each had to figure out how to turn it on and off, thinking that was a new kind of faucet we haven't seen before. After a long, very hot day, I got in the shower and went to turn the water off, and the faucet came off in my hand, spraying water full force at me, and it was impossible to turn the water off, even with pushing the faucet back into place and turning it. We had to call the desk to tell them the water wouldn't shut off, to which they responded promptly. After they came and went three times, we were told that we would need to change rooms because they couldn't repair it that night, which is understandable. What my concern is that we were told that it was known that this faucet was broken prior to our arrival, but because it technically "worked," we were put in that room. When you have other empty rooms, why on earth would you put someone in a room that has a known issue and take that chance? Had a young child been in that shower, I'd hate to see how they would've reacted, and given the level of the faucet, they could've been seriously hurt, given the force of the water that came out of there. And we hauled all of our stuff downstairs, to be put in the room next door, and had to haul it all back up there. I could've left my son with our belongings while I got the new room assignment, and avoided a bigger headache. At least the new room was stocked with fresh towels and washcloths. Also, something that tells you what each channel is on the TV would be helpful, because I couldn't find a guide on the TV, so the only way to know what each channel was, was to go through them one by one. Breakfast was very good, so that is a...
