K&G Fashion Superstore — Local services in Irving

Went in to this store to purchase a shirt and tie that I had seen the day before and had pretty good service on that day but wasn't ready to purchase them on that day, so I went back today on 10/15 about 10:15 am and this time it was a different worker that i got service from and unfortunately I ended up walking out he was very rude it seemed like he didn't like his job when I asked him if he could help with measurements first he sighed and was acting as though I was bothering him and just said turn and made me feel very uncomfortable, then after that awkward interaction I still gave him the benefit of the doubt and I asked him for advice on different lengths of ties in general like is one length better than another? where at that time he bellitied me and almost scoffed and said " so what's the problem you don't know how to tie a tie?" and "don't worry we'll tie it for you when you buy it" that wasn't the issue I know how to tie a tie. So at that time I walked away and I left the store empty handed I will not be returning to this store so they have lost my business and anyone else I talk to will know this also and I did mention to the front desk that they need to maybe cheer up their employees because that was completely uncalled for.

Just to add an update to this so they reach out to you and say send them an email so you email the company and basically they say ok thank you we here you then I responded and said that's even horrible customer service it's obviously doesn't matter if you keep a customer or actually obtain a customer and they said here's a $20 off a $100 purchase but it expires on a week lol horrible experience will not return to this one or any of the stores for that matter!...

I love K & G Fashions, the styles the prices are great but the tailor at the Irving store is not a professional. I took him a pair of suit pants and asked him to take the waist in. He took the measurements and charged me $14. He never explained to me that I had to explain to him that I wanted the belt loop sewn like the other belt loops. I'm not a tailor and I just assumed that he was going to do the best job that he could. When I went to pick up the pants I was shocked to see what is in the picture I have enclosed. Then he had the nerve to try to turn it around and make it my fault because I wasn't specific about what I wanted and he would have charged me more. Again I explained, I am not a tailor I just assumed that he was going to do a professional job which he didn't. He asked me if I wanted a refund? Of course I asked for a refund and then went on to tell me that once they give me a refund I can never take my pants back to that K&G Fashions. As if I would ever take my pants back to that K&G to have them fixed. And on top of everything the pants are gray and he chose black thread to fix the belt loop. The least he could have done was try to match the thread with the pants. Shoddy workmanship. If he would have explained to me my options when I left the pants I definitely would have paid more money to have them done right.

So I'm adding an amend to this review. After talking to Tracy, the store manager, she made the situation right and made me whole. Definitely she gave me and my wife five star customer service although I will NEVER go in there to use the tailor, Flavio but I will continue to shop there because of The Store Manager Tracy and The Fashion Stylist...

Apparently one of the employees “works at a police station” lol and can take you with her if you are black. Even though she is black lol.

As we were looking for suits 2 to be exact. A dumb lady “offered help” “ Can I help you?” and literally ignored my request lol. And we went to look for suits. She was just watching us trying different colors. And she didn’t seem happy or want to be there. Bad vibes. The thing that made me write this was cuz. She was watching us and talking to her coworker “a Hispanic male” saying loudly so we can hear“ I might need to go to the police station and take some people with me”. I was like lol. We were the only people there. Then I told my brother “would you like to go to the police station?” He was like what!!!. Then she said “You might”. I went to her and said “Are we making you uncomfortable by being here?” She said No. then O asked her Why would you say you might take people to the police station with you? Are you referring this to us? She said “ I work at the police station” lol

Point is she had a bad day and being ignorant.

The one on the picture is the manager and when I told her what had happened she simply said “She is a woman” lol
