We don’t have an option to give zero rating on google, otherwise I would have given this bakery a ZERO rating.

Ordered two cakes - one for cake smash and another for birthday - the WORST cakes we have seen in our experience so far. Lots of colorful cream on the top to make the cakes look beautiful, but the bread inside is of worst quality. Both the cakes went into dumpster.

Went to this place based on the reviews, next time I am not going to any new place based on the reviews.

This place might have some good things to offer but cakes are not their part, so people be careful before you want to order any cakes from here

Response to the owner’s reply - We paid $180 for these cakes and requested for a 3-tier cake with each tier using different flavor - vanilla, strawberry and butterscotch, but what we got is a plain hard bread without any softness of a cake or the flavor. Please check the picture shared. Forgot about the money, but most of the guests did not even touch it, that’s the sad part. It was my daughters first birthday.

I don't enjoy writing a negative review. I will preface by saying I have only bought one item at The Irving Bakery, but it was a huge disappointment. It was a birthday cake for my 6 year old grandson. I paid $80 with a tip. I don't recall ever throwing away cake in my house, but we only ate about 1/4 of the cake. It was very dry. I chose this bakery based on a recommendation. After trying the cake, I went back and read reviews and I wish I had read them before ordering the cake. The reviews go back a while with the same complaint, so apparently they are aware, but haven't done anything to correct the issue. We were happy with how it was decorated, but if a cake doesn't taste good, the way it looks doesn't matter. I guess another dry cake review won't make any difference, but maybe it can help someone avoid...

I ordered mini cupcakes with blue and yellow icing for my kiddo’s birthday and they were a hit at the party! Everyone loved it and asked for a second serving. You can tell the difference in the first bite itself. Soft not overwhelming sweet, icing super light and perfect size and didn’t taste artificial at all. The staff is amazing and very polite. They catered to my needs and any questions/concerns I had were patiently responded. I have never been to this place before and now it’s going to be my future one stop for all bakery needs. Highly...
