Fritaille — Restaurant in Irvington

Listen- I have been protecting and supporting my Haitian people’s businesses and have remained silent but, we really need to do better. I ordered food as I had quite a drive home. I ordered a large goat fritaille. The food was extremely expensive for the portion given to me. The marinade tasted like nothing. The pikliz was basically onions with vinegar, mild spice/piman (ridiculous)! I was given Plaintain less than $1 worth and 2-3 squeezed potatos, goat tasted okay. I asked for extra plaintain in advance to replace the akra they didn’t have, but unsure if any was added. For such a small space, not eat-in, not a decent look, you guys charge way too much. Yes- food is expensive, but we know how much they cost for the amount you all are selling those small portions..AND if you’re going to charge so much, take more care into giving something delicious and enough portions.

This is not to bring down any restaurants as this is not one Haitian restaurant issue, it’s many Haitian restaurants in the NY & NJ areas that need to do better. For all the money you’re charging, invest in a bigger space with better sanitation. Our food taste so good when handled with care. Learn from the food businesses in the country...

This was my first time buying food here. My boyfriend said it was a good place to get fried food. I called to order and asked what type of sides came with the fried goat. The lady answered me and said you get 4 different sides, which was plantains, acras, marinades, and sweet potato. When I got there there my food wasn't ready and had to wait another 30 minutes for it even though they told me it would be ready in 15 mins and I gave them 30 minutes. When I tried to look at my food the lady said you don't have to look at it because everything is there and placed it in the bag. When I got home I was so excited to try my food and opened it and found that the only thing that was in there was Plantains and Marinades. I was so pissed. All she had to tell me was that they didn't have the other sides and I would have made the decision to order it or not. I will never come back here again. I rather go across...

Last time I will step food in there ! I ordered food 20 mins before I came yesterday and when I got there my order was never ready ! After standing there for another 20 min they finally gave me my food there are so unorganized and unprofessional ! A guy came back very upset because his food was so cold how u hand over a cold taso? So when I finally got my food and went home the meat had a weird smell to it so that means it was not properly cleaned then the plantains and other stuff in there was burnt, fried dark by the time I got home it was seriously hard! Waist of $16 !
