MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Issaquah

We frequent different locations of MOD pizza because we don’t have one near us. It’s a treat for our kids when they get to go and they’re always excited about it. I will NEVER go back to this Issaquah highlands location. First thing to mention most important our son got extreme food poisoning from his pepperoni pizza. 100% came from this order. Please continue to read. We got curbside pickup- I put the order in at 1:48 it said it would be ready by 2:09. We had to physically come inside to get our order because they would “bring it out when they had time” aka hadn’t even started our order yet. Finally finished at 2:27. Extra cheese on a mini Maddy got almost NO cheese. Hardly any sauce almost none on my custom MOD 5 crew members and only 1 was actually working. When my husband came inside the workers were unprofessionally talking about our order rudely discussing how I couldn’t park in front of the store in curbside because a semi was delivering so I parked in front of ulta and let the kid who answered the phone know that. They said I was parked out in the middle of the parking lot somewhere — my husband walked in on the convo they obviously didn’t know he was with our order because I called and the order was placed...

Pizza is good and I love MOD but the service here is just awful for the times I've ordered online. There is a giant sign to stand directly under for online orders and this last time despite four employees standing directly in front of me not a single one made eye contact or any effort to ask why I might possibly be standing under the sign. After about four minutes of standing patiently I just asked into the air "Is this where I pick up my online order?" And then a fifth different person walked over and handed my my order that had been sitting on the countertop since I walked in.

If you are the owner reading this and want to improve your store, ask your staff to acknowledge people waiting directly under the online order sign or move it so that it is a separate area from the in-restaurant ordering pickup queue to avoid employee confusion. Uttering "have you been helped?" to a person who just ordered six feet away would be mildly infuriating but so is ignoring folks who come in for online orders until we have to shout.
