A Delightful Dining Experience. My visit was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the exquisite food to the warm and inviting ambiance, everything about this restaurant is top-notch, making it a must-visit destination for anyone who loves great food and a wonderful dining atmosphere.

The first thing that struck me about Masthi was its stylish and contemporary decor. The interior is beautifully designed, creating a cozy yet upscale atmosphere that is perfect for any occasion, whether it's a casual meal with friends or a special celebration. The lighting, seating, and overall layout of the restaurant are thoughtfully arranged, making it both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.

The menu at Masthi impressive, offering a diverse selection of dishes that showcase the rich flavors of Indian cuisine with a modern twist. I started with the Masthi Paneer Tikka, which was perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The flavors were bold and authentic, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. For the main course, I opted for the Butter Chicken and the Lamb Biryani, both of which were absolutely delicious. The Butter Chicken was creamy and flavorful, while the Lamb Biryani was fragrant and cooked just right. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.

One of the standout features of Masthi is the quality of the ingredients. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the attention to detail in the preparation of each dish was evident. The chefs clearly take pride in their work, and it shows in every bite.

The service at Masthi is exceptional. The staff are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to offer recommendations and ensure that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The food was served promptly, and the staff were always on hand to refill drinks and attend to any requests.

The bar at Masthi Bar & Grill is also worth mentioning. They offer an excellent selection of cocktails, wines, and beers, including some unique creations that perfectly complement the food. The Mango Mojito and the Masthi Special Cocktail were particularly impressive, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.

In addition to the fantastic food and service, the restaurant also maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The dining area, restrooms, and kitchen were all impeccably clean, providing a safe and pleasant environment for guests.

In summary, it delivers a great dining experience with its outstanding food, exceptional service, and beautiful ambiance. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, this restaurant is sure to impress. I highly recommend Masthi Bar & Grill for an unforgettable...

We stopped by this new-concept Indian restaurant hungry, after a paddleboard on Lake Sammamish. They have tastefully-remodeled the space formerly occupied by Red Robin into a delightful restaurant and bar. We learned they only opened 11 days ago. The food was absolutely delicious and really reasonably priced! For appetizer, we started with a Paneer Dosa (made flat because of the filling, rather than rolled). We ordered two curries: Mughali and Coconut both were perfectly balanced and spiced as described, these came with rice included. The presentation in lined metal bowls was a nice touch. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala with medium spice to go for the home crew. This is a very tough crowd (my daughter) that has eaten the dish on four continents and all corners of the country including probably a dozen in Los Angeles: she actually gave it 5 stars (truly a rare event). The table service was friendly, prompt, eager and still on a little bit of a learning curve with their vast menu. Not to worry, management is experienced, friendly and on the ball; these are early days. They have a full bar menu; interesting beer and wine lists and a brief cocktail menu. We learned they've hired a mixologist (I would expect that cocktails are an area of experimentation and growth). We ordered the Japanese lager, light and delicious and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, quite crisp and tasty. All in all, a very auspicious start for a new and ambitious place. I was generous in my reading, because the only issues I saw were simple to address, slightly amusing, and did not affect the quality of our meal. We will be back... and I will take...

I really enjoy the food and ambiance at this place, but I’m consistently disappointed by the service—which ranges from inattentive to outright rude. As a vegetarian, I particularly like their appetizers, which are flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the main course options leave a lot to be desired; most of them are quite underwhelming.

They also offer an extensive selection of mocktails—though to be honest, many of them taste more like soda mixed with flavored syrup. If that’s your thing, you might enjoy them.

Now, here's a frustrating experience I had with one of the waiters. We ordered the Paneer Biryani, which arrived as a soupy, stew-like dish—something I’ve never encountered before in a biryani. When we asked the waiter about it, he became defensive and replied, “It’s your mistake. If I were you, I would never order that.” Well, okay—not exactly the response you'd expect. Then, after we paid the bill using the QR code at the table, he returned and said, “Again, your mistake. If you had asked me, I could’ve given you a discount through my personal reference.”

I genuinely didn’t know what to make of that. It was baffling and a bit off-putting. I hope this was just an isolated incident, as I do like this place overall and have brought several friends here in the past. It has potential—but the service really...

We had ordered egg biryani from Masthi many times, and since we liked it a lot, we decided to dine in. We asked for Coke Zero, and the waiter bought a weird-tasting soda. When we pointed it out, he replaced it with a can. We ordered butter chicken, Malabar parantha, and pomfret fish. Check amount 51.39 + $10 tip. Portion sizes are significant as compared to other Indian/Pakistani restaurants in the vicinity. The Malabar parantha was 5 stars; it was hot and crispy. Egg biryani, five stars. Pomfret is not spicy - 3 stars; it will not sync with the Indian palate. I am returning to the neighboring places: butter Chicken - curry 5 stars, chicken in the curry - 0 stars. Don't eat if you are from North India or Pakistan. They add frozen chicken strips to the curry. The inventor of Butter Chicken in the 1960s, the owner of Moti Mahal in Delhi, would be turning in his grave to see what is being served as butter chicken. Ambiance - 4.5 stars. Is it value for money? Yes, if you do not like spices and have yet to eat butter chicken in North India. Will I go again - no, I like marinated cooked chicken, not the frozen chicken strips in my butter chicken.

A great place for Indian cuisine — and one of the few with karaoke! Things tried till now: Paneer Chilli, Hyderabadi Chicken Curry, Malai Kofta with Garlic Naan, Garlic Fried Rice, Chilli Baby Corn, Vegetable Hakka Noodles, and Chai. Verdict: The Paneer Chilli was spot on — crisp yet tender paneer, tossed in a perfectly balanced mix of spice and tang. The Hyderabadi Chicken Curry is a definite highlight: rich, bold, and authentically spicy, but not for the faint-hearted. The Malai Kofta fell short — a bit bland and lacking the richness you’d expect. It paired decently with the Garlic Naan, which was soft and well-made. The Indo-Chinese offerings were impressive. The Garlic Fried Rice had depth of flavor without being overly oily, while the Vegetable Hakka Noodles nailed that classic Indian street-style taste. The Chilli Baby Corn was decent but slightly heavy on masala. The Chai was warm and soothing — a nice way to end the meal. Service: Quick and efficient. Ambience: Lively with Indian music playing in the background. The added touch of karaoke and live music on Wednesdays and Thursdays makes it a uniquely enjoyable dining experience.
