How does it feel like to lose another Starbucks partners of yours? Thanks for treating me like an imbecile for the first few months within probation, as I learnt nothing but experienced ignorance. indifference and worst of all distrust towards me. I place my greatest condolences for Samantha, for she was truly one of the few who helped me move forward every time during work. I bear nobody ill will, but this Highlands store showed me the true face of greedy conglomerates. You pretend to treat customers and new hires with warm regards but under the image of a cold, fake smile. In fact, we are all living in a society where face values become so contagious to the point that the great majority people have been used to lying towards each other.
Do you believe in the cycle of Karma? You had it coming exactly. Your store can rot to grounds for all I care. You had taught me how not to be, and for that I hardheartedly appreciate it. I will continue to bear this humiliation and strive to improve myself everyday from now on. Should you continue the ways of your costume, you will only end up losing more visitors and workers. Until then, your Highlands store is no more but a mark of shame for Starbucks Corp and Howard Schultz.
For those who want to work for Starbucks, though not like I am going to stop you or anything, do your research on the particular store before applying. Other than that, I highly DO NOT recommend working for Highlands store, unless you want to risk getting pummeled from whatever's within. You are better than what you are. They don't deserve to keep you as their 'work slave' and make you lower your...
Read moreI only ever go to this Starbucks out of convenience and I always regret it. They're always out of something OR the wait is INSANE. They try to combat the wait by giving me my drink for free, but they don't always do that and that doesn't make up for the fact that I wasted 20 minutes in line. And they don't do anything for you if they're out of some ingredient. During a week in July they told me on two different days that they were out of lemonade. If you ran out once wouldn't that be enough to convince you to over order for the rest of the week?? Especially in the summer when lemonade is more popular??
The only redeeming quality about this Starbucks is ONE staff is really great. I wish I remembered her name... They've been moving her around a lot because I've seen her at other Starbucks locations in the area. GOOD! Then she can get away from this awful location.
I really should stop going but they put it in such a high traffic area that I can't help it. I've been stopping by this Starbucks off-and-on for the past two years and it's still so poorly managed. I just wish Starbucks would realize how much of an impact this one location is having on my overall opinion of...
Read moreI love being able to get coffee or tea that somebody else has to make instead of me... It also helps that I don't have to clean up after myself because I'm a messy coffee maker! I have become much more enamored of Starbucks since they came out with their blond espresso. It has more caffeine but it's way more smooth and less acid than their standard coffees. I absolutely cannot live without their mobile app. For the life of me I don't understand why people will sit in a 20 to 30-minute long line to order at a drive-thru when they could before they ever entered that line Place their order wait 5 minutes and go pick it up at the counter inside the store! But the fact that they don't makes it easier for me to do that so I probably shouldn't even have said it LOL. I love their loyalty program and the fact that you can earn free food and drink items so quickly. I also don't mind paying a little extra for coffee or tea here because I know that they take better care of their employees than many places do with tuition, benefits, things that make life a little bit...
