Village Pizza & Seafood — Restaurant in Jacinto City

After traveling over an hour to a job my colleagues and myself decided we would stop for lunch. We came across Village Pizza and seafood. Every Village Pizza 🍕 we’ve ever been to was AMAZING, but this one has to be the worst one I’ve ever went to and my colleagues alike agreed! I ordered a Philly steak sub with fries, my colleague ordered a fish sandwich and fries. When we entered the establishment I noticed not one person seemed friendly. We ordered our food and sat down. The cashier came to bring us the food and didn’t say one word, we asked for ketchup after she placed the food on the table and she seemed very annoyed that we asked for it. we looked at how small the portion was on the sandwiches and was very disappointed. The sandwich I ordered had mainly tomatoes and lettuce it was barely sprinkled with meat. My colleague was immediately grossed out by the looks of her fish sandwich, looked brown from being fried in very old oil. We were in a hurry so decided to taste it and everything was cold but the fries. The food tasted very old and like it was all reheated. The only thing fresh was the fries but unfortunately they must cook everything in one fryer, and fries tasted like fish. After 2 bites we all decided to leave. Not to mention an older man who had a village pizza work shirt on stared at us the whole entire time and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. We will never go back to this location nor recommend it to any one. If you want village pizza I recommend you just keep driving past this one and go to any other one.

Edit: the next day my colleagues and myself are sick, and now know it was the food as we all have food...

Order food it took them 2hrs and thirty minutes to delivery then still wanted me to srill pay for cold food the delivery driver didint have change i had to wait an additional 10 min for another dirver to bring change the second driver lies and says was only a driver when i complained of thr issue he says he was a manager and he was running the business and then snatches the food out my hands because i refused to pay for cold food I called back to the restaurant and was told my order would be remade and the driver would be sent back out after waiting and additional 1hr and a half i called the store to see where my food was and i was told delivery has stopped for the night And i could ome pick it up when i am an otr truck driver i can just come and pick it up i will never oreder from this establishment every again and i will tell everyone i know to never order from this place in response to the owner i have told the truth and your drive lied to you he stated he had four deliverys prior to mine and my food was not delivered in a timely fashion and my food was cold so i suggest u tell the truth and be honest i have no reson to lie you being to owner should know better u lied to me twice and i stand by my words u are a very unprofessional business owner and i have 10 other people than wil stand by what i have stated that has had bad experience deal with u what u didnt know more people so...

Was out and about when I remembered that over 10 years ago, I was at least once a week here. Mainly because of the pizzas 🍕 and those who know me, know that I can turn into a little piggy 🐷 😁😂🤣 when it comes to pizza. But this time I wanted to try something different.

Elena, at the counter, greeted me when walking in and was very pleasant to talk to. Soo, I ordered the fish & chicken dinner (fried comfort food!). The tenders were moist on the inside and fish still flaky. Hush puppies were dense and the fries well made. The portion of fries was actually for me humongous.
