I've been hosting Pizza Sundays for the family lately, and I heard good things about Angelo's 2 Go. I ordered a medium pizza and Dad's half had just banana peppers. It was $16.72. Pricy for a medium, although I noticed on the store window a large, 1-topping was only $9.99! So ask ahead of time on specials. The drive-thru clerk was nice and offered our dog a biscuit. (She says "Thanks!".) Also, there is a 3-1/2% charge if you don't use cash. Be prepared for that one! As for the pizza...yikes! The banana peppers were basically dumped on Dad's half. He got some pizza with his peppers. After scraping them off, it honestly got worse. The crust is tough and must be chewed to be edible. He couldn't finish his slice, and I overheard them say, "That was horrible!" It actually was quite terrible. Of course, They didn't want me to feel bad bc I picked out the restaurant). It reminded us of homemade pizza when you cook it too high of temp, and the crust is tough, yet not done in the center.
We really wanted to like this local business, so we purchased their lasagna a few weeks later (remembered to pay cash!) And it was very good. So, pasta-Yes! Pizza,...
Read moreFirst time trying anything besides their bread! Ive been a fan of the homemade bread for awhile, its absolutely delicious every single time. Tonight we got Lasagna and Chicken Alfredo. The dinners came with a salad and a slice of their homemade bread. Both dinners were really good, and was big portions! The lasagna was thick, cheesy and the sauce was robust. My Fettuccine Alfredo was the same, and had alot of chicken in it...very creamy and the noodles were cooked perfect. The little dining area was nice & cozy. There's a display case with desserts, drinks, etc...the desserts looks delicious also! Staff was really nice, knowledgeable about menu and were very helpful. Everyone had smiles! I can't wait to try the other items they offer. Definitely...
Read moreThis was our third time having their pizza and the first time we waited inside for our order. We were told that it would be a 25 minute wait and they’d let us know when it was ready but we waited almost 50 minutes (they weren’t that busy) finally a girl asked us if she could help us and when we told her we were waiting on our order..she went back a got our “warm” pizza and didn’t even say anything to us 😑 okay then nice customer service. It might have something to do with the rude guy (owner) in the back that kept yelling at the young workers 🤔 He’s supposed to be such a friendly guy but I’m sure his employees will say differently as well as the little man who came in to pick up his order. Maybe he just needs to get better PR skills. We won’t be back...
