Culver's is another excellent addition to the Belden Village fast food scene. I've felt we've lacked unique fast food options up until a few years ago and it's really started to pick up. I also always appreciate a franchise that's locally owned as opposed to a bigger chain that may not necessarily give as much back to the township.
The location is nicely located with two very easy to use entrance/exits. Includes a drive thru, outdoor seating, and a large dining room inside. Exterior is well lit with nice blue accent lighting and the inside has a really nice contemporary dining room. It seems to be kept extremely clean as well.
One thing i will say, is the menu is HUGE. I mean that in both size and content. The wall behind the cashier is at least 50% menu. Everything from chicken to burgers to a variety of sides and shakes. There is definitely something here for everyone. The Butter burgers are their "staple" item along with their custard ice cream. I can attest that both of them have earned their staple status. I've not had anything here I did not enjoy.
The staff is excellent as well. There has to be 15 people minimum working in their kitchen at a time...just from an outsider looking in and it's all smiles and good times. They're very welcoming and you can tell they enjoy what they do. When you order, they hand you a number, happily bring you your food when it's time and are more than willing to get you anything you need such as refills, dipping sauces, etc.
I highly recommend you take your next burger craving over to Culver's and check them out. You will not be...
Read moreI gave this place two chances, one the first month that they opened and another in November of 2022. Both experiences were subpar, with the first experience being better.
Food: -You should expect Steak and Shake like burgers- smashed, not very thick -Twice they haven't had the same menu items listed on Culver's website, so don't look into the menu to plan what you'll eat -The fries and other items are good, the cheese curds are very yummy -If you opt for toppings, don't expect much. We asked for pickles and received literally 1 single small pickle. Asked if we could get more, they gave us 1 additional very small pickle. *Considering the price, I don't understand why you can't get more than 1 single pickle.
Service they tend to mess up your order if you do a custom burger, ex I requested grilled onions, mayo, ketchup and bacon. My burger came out with just ketchup and bacon. -they're slower than other places doing the same thing. Seemed short staffed the 2nd time around when I let them know the burger was wrong, I received attitude like I was making their job more difficult
Overall honestly, having Steak and Shake at a lower price point, and Freddy's at the same, I'd choose Freddy's for a similar menu, but better experience, Steak and Shake on a budget. This place just doesn't stand up to the hype for me. They're very stingy on the toppings, pickles and onions are far and few between. You can expect one pickle and maybe 2-3 slivers of onions on your sandwich....
Read moreI’m very sadden and upset that this place wasn’t the best like it’s been advertised or that other people have experienced. For starters, I ordered allot of food, 60$ worth to be exact. They give me some of my drinks when I pulled up and paid. They then closed the window and made me wait, didn’t explain what was going on. After 20 mins of waiting the women came back to the window and asked me to pull up. I think had asked her for the rest of my drinks, she told me they’d bring them out with my food. Okay no big deal. I then waited another 30 mins for my food. When the gentleman came out with my food, I asked him if I got everything and he said yes. I said where’s the rest of my drinks and he took off. Waited a few more minutes another women brought out more drinks. Not even realizing when I got back they left out two of my drinks, my sauces that I payed for, and some other food. The mashed potatoes and gravy are nasty, the onion rings were mushy, and cold. The bread on our sandwiches were soggy, the cheese curds were over fried and hard. When I called to tell the manager about this issues I was having with forgotten food and how I told the gentleman about the drinks, she got very rude and nasty with me, and hung up on. Customer service is not a very good thing here! But I can tell you that the best thing that we experienced was the pretzels and cheese, and the strawberry and lemon icy! However, I honestly do not think I’ll...
