Hobby Lobby — Local services in Jackson Township

It has lots of items to drool over, for sure, however the prices are so high. It's just not a place I would shop regularly. I was there to buy yarn, interested in their brand, I Love This Yarn. It's actually a decent yarn and a decent price. It is soft but it's not anything to goo goo over. It seems like a relatively sturdy yarn and I would say it's a little on the meatier side of a 4 weight. Their color selection was nice, solids 355 yd and variegated and the like 252 yd both for $4.99 a skein. So this particular yarn I would probably buy again as for the rest of the store The prices are just out of my ballpark. I can get the same thing at the Dollar General for well a dollar. As I was making my way to the yarn I passed by a pretty painted wooden Christmas tree. I picked it up and turned it over, $39.99!!! I'm sorry but in my world that is absolutely outrageous and ridiculous. It probably cost a dollar to make if that. Anyway, so in conclusion, even if I was a richy rich, I wouldn't spend this...

My daughter and I was in the store to get shirts for my grandsons (3 yrs. old) craft of tye dying. We go to check out, we were in line, 2nd to check out, there was a clerk at another register that we walked over to, she said she was closed, so we go back in our original line and then that clerk opens a register and did not take us but someone else in our line. Then to top it off, my grandson picked up a feather off of the floor in the shirt aisle and wanted to take it home. He asked me to hold it, the store clerk took it from me and said it had to be thrown away. I told her my grandson wanted it and she took it from me and threw it away. We sat in our car very very upset. The manager came out and daughter went to speak with him. He pushed her off. I spend $100's there at Hobby Lobby, we will no longer visit there and we took our business to Michael's. Very ashamed of...

This was my first Trip to Hobby Lobby. It had been recommended to me by someone who knew I was looking for a particular kind of plate. I was unable to find what I was looking for, but there were several other items that looked interesting. If you like to do crafts or looking for home decor, I would recommend that you at least take a look.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did find it a little confusing that while I was looking for a particular kind of plate, the plates were in several different locations. Depending on the pattern for the season. It would have been more helpful if all of the plates had been in one location or aisle.
