Excellent service, very kind and friendly. Food was excellent. Dinner was a little pricy per dish but between the great food, kind and attentive staff, and the beautiful decor, it was well worth the price.
My girlfriend and I tried multiple dishes. We tried Egg rolls and crab Rangoons for appetizers. The egg rolls were ok, not my favorite. However, for less than $2 a piece they were very stuffed with chicken (pork also I believe) and vegetables and came out very crisp. They were served very quickly as well (less than a couple minutes) they gave the option for sweet and sour sauce and/ or a spicy type sauce that reminded me of a horseradish/ wasabi type of flavor, very strong. Not for me but a great option to have but not for me. The crab rangoons were absolutely fantastic. They were nice and crisp with a very generous amount of cream cheese and crab.
For main entrees we tried general tso's, shrimp pad tai, pork lo mein, and pork fried rice. The general tso's was absolutely amazing. The chicken was all white meat with a very finely crisped outer shell and a very light glaze of sauce. While some may like the light glaze (which also helps to keep it crisp) I prefer a little more sauce and the staff very quickly brought out extra sauce, overall very well made and actually had a slight kick unlike other general tso's. The shrimp pad tai was excellent. The shrimp were very plump and flavorful, and the sauce had a sweet touch to it. Somewhat pricy but very good. The pork fried rice was good. The rice itself was exactly what one wants from fried rice but the pork was not my favorite. Next time I will try the chicken fried rice. Last we had the pork lo mein which again was good and the pork was my least favorite part (perhaps just a preference I assume).
We mentioned to the waitress that it was our first time we had been there. After our meal she offered us free ice cream and they had multiple flavors (I think close to 8) it was a very nice soft serve.
This place is an absolute recommendation from me. Great food, beautiful decorations, and absolutely the best staff. If you love Chinese food and great customer service, this is the place for you (not to mention that they are fluent in English, Spanish, and multiple forms of Chinese). This place deserves all the money they earn...
Read moreLike every where else the restaurant was short staffed. The wait for your meal after ordering, was well over an hour. Being a server myself in past...when you walk in dining room and walk out, you shouldn't leave empty handed, pick up some dirty plates off people's tables. I ordered a beer with cold glass, first one came, about 25 mins. later I asked the hostess, if I could get another beer, she said we'll see...what? I wanted a frozen drink, they had it on website they told me they were to busy to make. Ok. I ask the server if I could have another beer with cold glass she brings me the beer and then brings me the cold glass when beer was half gone. She really didn't have it together. I can be patient with the employee shortage...not the employees' unorganization. We were a party of 4...people that came in after us that were parties of 2 did get served b4 us. They ran out of fried rice, after we ordered it. Do not get the Honey Chicken #417, it was terrible had a real bad taste to chicken, maybe dirty grease. 2 of my grandsons ordered it neither ate it. I tasted it and it left an after taste in my mouth, it just wasn't right. We just let it go and did not complain as if they came to check on the meal, not. NO, but they brought the check promptly b4 we were done eatting and started clearing table. The soup, appetizer, #420 moo shu chicken and Tso Chicken was good. Unfortunately, I will never go there again. 4 people's meals, 3 no drinks $85. Which is about average price. Another customer told me it usually isn't like this, but they only had 2 cooks & 3 servers. Maybe they should have shut down one of the dining rooms, since they did not have the staff to handle them, properly. There look to be 3 or 4 open. I am alway a generous...
Read moreGreat food , absolutely horrible service.... Lunch time , 1:30pm.. Waited 5 mins to be seated (normal , no issue) then another 10 minutes to get drinks while watching tables seated after us receive drinks and soups (issue) .. I approached the Women who appeared to be the manager and told her .. I was met with a massive eye roll and then she stormed away... We get our soups and our silverware has crusty food left on it.. No server once again to help so I grabbed some new... Food comes.. Server slams down our food in wrong spots and looks at us , snaps back "you can change it".. oh .. ok we were going to .. lol FOOD WAS WONDERFUL BTW , loved every bite!!! Problem is our server never came to check on us and we never got refills on our drinks.. Finally get our check and head to the front to pay.. up front now standing and waiting another 5 mins ,the manger women approached .. Instead of asking how the food was or apologizing for slower than normal service we were met with rudeness, arguments and an all around awkward conversation in front of several other guest.. unacceptable behavior from a manger towards guest... My wife and have worked in the restaurant industry most of our working lives so we understand it and we get the struggles of the day to day .. Unfortunately the manager / owner or whoever was running the place today dropped the ball on our lunch service .. We might get carry out from this restaurant again since the food was awesome , but I highly doubt I'll want to take my family here again as I left feeling embarrassed and...
