Terrible, terrible, terrible! I ordered the Happy Holidays arrangement #113 for my mother's birthday and scheduled it to be delivered on 12/13/2021, her actual birthday. I received an email that said my order was delivered. The order was NOT delivered. I called the store and spoke to the Assistant Manager, Patsy who explained they encountered a glitch in their system that notified customers their orders were delivered when they actually were not. I called the store at 4:55 only to be told in a very condescending tone that the arrangement I ordered for my mother's birthday in fact WILL NOT be delivered today and they'll deliver it tomorrow. When I explained to Patsy that wasn't acceptable she could have cared less, she told me "we're short staffed, the driver is still out delivering and my arrangement will be delivered tomorrow NOT today." I explained my mom lives in Grove City and asked if they could just deliver it, she said "we close in 5 minutes and the driver is still out, no it will be delivered tomorrow". I explained "tomorrow" isn't my mom's birthday, again PATSY could have cared less. I did NOT receive one apology for their inability to fulfill an order request. What I did receive was the worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. I've been a returning customer of this shop for over 20 years and because of the service PATSY provided, I will NEVER order from this company again. DO NOT...

I have had many experiences now with Connells Maple Lee in Grove City, most of which have been disappointing. I have ordered flowers from Proms, dances, and other happy occasions as well as many arrangements for funeral services. Up til now, I had continued purchasing with them with the hope that I would one day have a great and happy story to share. Unfortunately, I have not. They are inconsistent, get orders wrong, and have a Manager who has zero people skills. My most recent order was last Friday, and I was just told that the arrangement was dying by the next day. I almost placed an order today, but when I was told that I needed to pay more than I did just last week for the exact same arrangement, I just couldn't see it. The extra charge I was told was simply because the driver was headed over to my delivery point (15 minutes away) and my arrangement wouldn't be ready in time to make the trip so I had to pay an additional delivery fee because they would have to make a 2nd trip. Absurd! Too bad for them....I'll happily find another florist, undoubtedly they'll care more about their customers than they do an...

We couldn't have been happier with the products and service we received from Connells Maple Lee in Grove City. My wife and I wanted to keep our money local when looking for flowers for a belated wedding reception. Not only did Connells complete our centerpiece order, but we called to add things to our order twice during the week of pickup. They handled everything with professionalism and all for a very reasonable price. The centerpieces, bouquet, and boutonnieres all turned out great, and our guests loved the colors and design. It added so much to the look of our event. These flowers also had the best lifespan of any flowers we have purchased. They lasted in near perfect condition for almost three weeks after the event.
