Ordered take out from this restaurant because a Facebook post said the restaurant was under new management and they had the previous issues fixed. This was incorrect information, the take out order wasn't ready on time, I had to wait another 30 minutes in the store for the meal to be ready. The cashier had to ask the manager several time to get the order because I had been waitingAfter waiting 15 minutes the manager brought out an order that wasn't mine, then the manager disappeared and I didn't see him again. 15 minutes later a woman brought out an order and put it on the take out shelf behind the counter, after several minutes I had to ask if that wasattitude the lady asked what I was waiting on, when I answered the lady said yes and the cashier handed me the order. After we got home, 1 meal was mostly correct just cold, the 2nd meal was not correct, the mashed potatoes were cold, the mashed potatoes and the chicken were both missing the cream gravy, the grilled chicken mashed potatoes add on order was completely missing, after looking at the meal ticket on the bag, they had crossed the grilled chicken mashed potatoes order off the meal ticket and had also crossed the cream gravy off the meal ticket, and had hand wrote brown gravy, but no gravy was in the meal. I tried to call the restaurant that evening, no one would answer the phone, I was finally able to get someone to answer the phone the next day, all the manager said was she wasn't working the night before, she said they would credit the missing meal, after looking at the credit card statement, they did not credit the missing meal. The lady did say they would give us a free meal at the store, but what is the point if the meals are going to be wrong. Do not order take out from this restaurant.

This was our worst breakfast experience EVER at a Cracker Barrel! 2 eggs over easy, bacon, 1 slice of sour dough toast and a side of hashbrown casserole - simple .... right? We waited for a cup of black coffee and glass of water to be delivered to the table WHEN our meal was served! THEN, NO BACON and forget the toast, instead how about warm bread? When I asked for the toast and bacon, her response was "I knew I forgot something. The bread is toasted. I can't put it thru again unless you want burnt toast." To which I replied, "just a slice of sour dough toast will be fine!" Another 2 slices of warm bread came to the table and then the bacon arrives. I asked another waitress if it was too much to ask for an order of toast. So I ate 2 eggs and hashbrown casserole, PAUSED, ate 2 strips of bacon, PAUSED and waited for a slice of toast which was delicious! BUT WAIT, we still need to wait for the check and the to-go order. "Did I give you the right check? Just pick up your to-go up front," she uttered. When your front of the house staff is not trained properly, this is what you get! This wasn't a new waitress issue, she was only doing what she knows! Management needs a reminder here!

I was in south Columbus/ Grove City over the weekend. I woke up and was in need of a proper breakfast. From my hotel I could see the Cracker Barrel sign, I do love me some Cracker Barrel. I pulled in and parked a just as the restaurant was opening. I made my way through the gift shop and found the hostess. I must say that the entire staff here was unbelievably polite & friendly, that is a big deal for me. She sat me at a table & gave me a menu. Your seating options are limited, tables only, but I’ve always found them very comfortable. I always have loved Cracker Barrel’s entrees, good ol’, down home comfort food. My server came to my table, took my drink order & took my food order. I went with a breakfast bowl & coffee. As always the food was simply delicious, the coffee hot & tasty. The beautiful thing about Cracker Barrel is consistency, it doesn’t matter if it’s in Blythville, AR or the 5th ring of Hell, the food will be quality & the service top notch. This is why when I’m on the road, Cracker Barrel is my go to for a good solid meal.

Came here at 7:30 pm on Sunday evening. When we ordered, our server told me that they were out of lettuce, so I had to pick a different side other than salad, so I picked broccoli. My husband ordered breakfast. After about 25 minutes, our server came out and asked my husband how he wanted his eggs. We figured that this wasn't a good sign, as the meal should have been on our table already, not just getting around to being cooked. So we sat for another 20 minutes (with empty glasses of pop - no refills offered). Finally, another server came by and asked how everything was. We told her that we had been there for over 45 minutes, and no food. She apologized, and said she'd check on our food.

A few minutes later, our food comes out, looking cold and congealed. As our server put our food down, she told me that they were out of broccoli too, and asked what other side I wanted, so I picked green beans. I was pretty irritated by this point. How do you not have lettuce or broccoli? I see from several other reviews that lettuce has been an issue. Maybe management should order more, or run down to Kroger to get some.

Having waited for over 55 minutes by this time, we tried our food. Gee, what a surprise - ice cold. The butter on my husband's pancakes wasn't even slightly melting, and the eggs were cold too. My chicken was cold, and even the fried okra wasn't warm. When our server came out with the green beans, she asked how it was, and we told her that it was all cold. She left and went back into the kitchen. Now, after being here for an hour, she comes back and tells us that the manager said that they could remake it. We told her never mind, and offered to at least pay for our drinks. She said that wasn't necessary since we didn't even eat.

Years ago, Cracker Barrel was so good! Sadly, it just sucks now. We hadn't been here for quite a while, because the food and service were bad on our last visit, but we hoped that they had improved. I know everyone uses the Covid excuse of why a restaurant is sub-par, but it's really getting old. Making a customer wait almost an hour for a meal (and comes out cold from sitting and not being served in a timely manner), and not having lettuce for salads is ridiculous. After we left, hungry, we went to Waffle House. And actually...

This place is horrible horrible service food hardly cooked lost or gave away a meal. We waited an hour and 15 minutes for food. I complained to cashier check out. She said she would speak to the Back. I spent $71 for a crap meal for my sister-in-law, my nephew, myself and my foster son and my granddaughter. My sister and I Go out to eat on Wednesday mornings. This week we were in Grove city so we went to the Cracker Barrel at the last minute. It was fine at first we got seated. We got our drinks about an hour and 15 minutes went by after we placed our order no food. I told my sister-in-law we’re gonna wait about 10 more minutes and we’re gonna leave then the waiter or waitress Came out and apologized for a few taking so long and then she he showed up again with some food, the bacon look like it had only been flipped over once the scrambled eggs for my foster son and my nephew look like basically they have been thrown in a pan, cut in squares and thrown on the plate. They were very dry and nasty. My sister-in-law‘s French toast was about the size of Half a piece of French toast so I ended up giving her one of my strawberry cheesecake burnt tasting pancakes. We didn’t get any strawberry syrup. We receive syrupin the little Cracker Barrel bottles, not in the little crocks or whatever that is generally served in. Then the kicker was they either lost my Nephew’s meal where it wasn’t placed or they gave it away to somebody else so the waiter waitress came back out and apologized again and said she or she didn’t know what happened to it but they would make it now and it would be out a few few minutes so another 20 minutes later they showed up with food. I gotta tell you the biscuits were flat. They almost reminded you of smashed pieces of ciabatta bread tasting, like baking soda or baking powder. I have never had such horrible food in my life. I did tell the cashier when we checked out and she told me that she would tell about. She did not offer to get a manager or anything. I spent $71 so I will be contactingCracker Barrel corporate here shortly via chat and let them know about this horrible experience. This is the second time that this cracket Barrel I’ve had a...
