Several months later, and this location hasn’t changed—somehow, it has become worse. After waiting nearly 40 minutes in line, I received my wife’s food and continued on my way home from work. I got home and we ate. The lights were off in our room, as it was late at night. My wife said that her burger didn’t taste right, aside from the fact that it was not made as ordered. So, we turned on the lights. It was raw—absolutely raw.
The location was notified. I am so disappointed as a customer. My wife is a breastfeeding mother, and it was painful to watch her forcefully throw up her meal in fear that, if she got sick, it would affect our baby. This negligence needs to be addressed. McDonald’s, you owe your patrons better.
We spoke with a lactation consultant and food poisoning does not affect breastfeeding.
Original Tired of this place. McDonald’s food is great when it is fresh. Personally it’s not my go too. My girlfriend on the other hand. It’s her first choice when dining fast food. Every time we come to this location we ask for fresh fries and nuggets because the staff lets the fries product get cold and old yet serves it anyway. Every time we let the order taker know we do not mind pulling forward and waiting. Every time we get to the window they shove a bag of cold food into my hand and when I ask if my food was cooked fresh, knowing full well it was not. The staff is extremely rude. I myself am an assistant manager at another chain. This is not the way you treat people it is shameful. It’s disappointing that the staff at this store does not take pride in what they do or what they serve. In fact they often go over and above at making you feel unwelcome. The first few times we had to take our food back and ask for it to be remade I was pretty upset. Now, as stated before I’m just disappointed. I have never before been served such poor quality food at any of the restaurants or fast food chains in grove city. I very much hope this store changes for the better, and whoever is in charge of hiring takes their job more seriously...
Read moreAVOID this location!! Corporate needs to step in and completely rehire new staff and managers! I don't even want to give any stars at all. Tried to order 15 cookies the day before needed for an event. I was told by a restaurant employee that I could not but could order the next morning in the app and they would be ready. I get to the restaurant and give my code and was told to pull around. At the first window, I was asked if it was a mobile order of cookies and I responded yes. I was told to pull up to the second window for the cookies. I figured they would be right out as I had ordered them at 9 am this morning. I waited and waited and no cookies so I backed up to see what the delay was. The young lady said I had one more minute and when I asked her about the delay because I had ordered them at 9 am and they should have been ready, she became very nasty. The manager stepped in to inform me of their mobile app procedure for these things, and I told her that they need to publish that on the app or at the very least tell the customer when you have them at the window. The manager got nasty and rude and said she wasn't trying to be rude. I told her that her employees were (as the employee was standing by her shaking her head at me) and she stated that she would address it with her staff. But then she slammed the drivethru window on me and walked away. Dear McDonald's-you were built by customers! We don't need you; you need us! Get back to good...
Read moreI ordered 2 specials, double cheeseburger and fries. I specifically asked the cashier to make sure my fries were hot and the burgers were fresh to which he replied "ok". I get a block down the street, reach in my bag, fries are cold. I'm thinking, the burgers better be hot and fresh. I get home and take a bite and the burger was totally gross, cold and obviously NOT fresh. I throw the food in the garbage, where it belonged in the first place, and called the restaurant. The manager asked for my name and told me there would be a credit for me. I go back 2 nights later and pull up to the speaker and sit there. Probably 30 seconds later, somebody pulls up to the outside speaker. They take THEIR order first. She then asks me for my order and I told her I have a credit and she says pull up. After asking me what I ordered and my name SEVERAL MORE TIMES she gets the book out only to page through it and tell me my name is not in there. Now I'm really pissed and I think she could tell so she very reluctantly offered go ahead and replace my food. The food used to be ok there and the service was good but lately they have gone way way down hill. One more warning, various times of the night they will go into "cash only" mode, no sign and no consistency, you just have to sit in line and wait till you finally get to the order screen to be told it's cash only....
