Update: We gave it another try...waited forever for someone to come get our drink/food order. Normally we can't decide what we wanna eat, BUT it took so long for our server to arrive at the table that we knew what we wanted and ordered our food. She was very nice, I'll give her that, but she came out gave us our drinks and said our food would be out shortly. My tea wasn't very sweet at all, so I wanted her to switch it out for Pepsi. She had disappeared and we didn't see her for quite a while. My partner got up, had asked someone to get our server and even after he did that, it took a while for her to come to the table to ask what the issue was and bring the Pepsi. The bacon was cooked, but very limp, not crispy at all (which means it likely wasn't just made and had been sitting in grease.) I wanted warm syrup, but didn't ask because we were already having issues). We asked to have the checks split and when our server came back, asked us if we were paying online and before we could really answer, she had walked away. I asked someone else to speak to a manager. The manager came out, I showed her my review on here, corporate's reply and my ID so she could I was who really posted it. Then we explained all of the myriad of issues we've faced when trying to eat there. We had told her it had been our first time in over a month since we had been there and that we went in because of the reply from corporate. She was very appreciative of the feedback and made things right, as best as she could. I told her having been a restaurant manager, I understand the issues they're facing, but that it's been something that's gone on for quite a while. She stated she would try addressing those issues with the staff. Hopefully things will only get better from there. For that reason I've increased my rating for food and atmosphere, but the rest still needs work before I will increase my overall rating for this restaurant.
Last several times here, the service has been absolutely horrible. Servers take forever to do anything....they don't check on tables in a timely manner like they should, and sometimes they don't even pay attention to what the customers tell them. Would much rather go to another restaurant, in general, or go WAY out of my way to drive down to Lancaster to go to that one because at least they provide good customer service. I keep trying to give this location "one last chance" to impress me...but I'm about to quit...
Read moreMy family and I ordered from I Hop on Christmas day. We did this so my daughter didn't have to cook since she had to work that night. I ordered my food online then went to pick up our meal. I was told my order would be ready in 40 mins. When I arrived at the restaurant I called the number I was given to have my curbside brought out. I waited 30 mins but no one came out. Once I went into the store I asked about my order, I was told they are running little behind due to them being busy, I understood this so I waited. Another 30 mins went by so I asked again where was my order. I was told that I had to wait my order was not ready. I asked to speak to a manager but a manager never came out to speak with me. As I am sitting there waiting on my order I can hear the staff complaining about all the people and that all the people should go home. I understand it's a holiday and nobody want to work but the staff shouldn't be talking about customers that way. So I am about 1.5 into my experience and again I asked where my order was at this time I was told I should go home cook for my self. I was getting more angry at this time. I asked for a manager again so I could be refunded my money and go home, I have been there for 2 hours now. The whole time I am sitting there waiting on my order staff was bringing orders out, I heard my name called and asked if that was my order, I was told no the order was chicken and stuff but it turned out it was my order and my order set there for at least 40 mins before the error of the staff was corrected. The staff at this I Hop was very unprofessional, talking about customers and telling them to go home and cook for them selves. I would give a negative stars but I can't. I will not go back or recommend this I Hop, I will go out of my way to go...
Read moreLet me tell you my story...a couple of days ago, i decided that I earned a nice breakfast since I just got a promotion! After looking at the choices, I choose this ihop, to my misfortune. I ordered a Bacon Temptation Omelet, crispy hashbrowns, and some blueberry lemon ricotta crepes. While the delivery driver was great, the food was not. There was NO bacon in the Bacon Temptation Omelet! not one single piece. The hashbrowns were rubbery and mostly cold. And the crepes? Nothing but the shells. There were no blueberries, no lemon, no filling of any kind. I guess i was lucky they put a sprinkling of powered sugar on it. I called the restaurant and they said that Doordash would do the refunds. I contact them and they refund 4 dollars. 4 DOLLARS. out of a $30.00 meal. I called the restaurant back and told them that this was completely unacceptable. So the Manager, Andrea, promised to put me down on a list and i could get the food remade at a later date. Not the best option but I was willing to give them another shot. Two days later, a Saturday, I decided to cash in that promise while I was doing the rest of my running around. I called them and put in a take-away order of the exact same things. They told me it would take 15-20 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later and still had to wait 30 minutes on top of that before my food was ready. This time the Bacon Temptation Omelet had bacon in it...but the omelet itself was only about 1 egg...if that! I didn't get the hasbrowns at all this time. And the crepes actually had blueberries! and 1 piece of Lemon! But still no filling at all. I debated calling them back, but really? why would I want to return? I gave it up and decided that next time I wanted a really good breakfast, I'll go to Bob Evans or I'll...
