My friend has been having a really hard time having her ID accepted here. She has a state issued, vertical ID that does not expire until 2026, states that she is over 21, states her birthday, everything should be correct for them to accept it, and yet she has been told by numerous bartenders they “don’t accept state ID’s, only driver’s licenses.” However, someone claiming to be the owner and his wife and one other bartender has accepted her ID. I am very confused about this rule. Now, some people are medically not allowed to drive due to epilepsy, diabetes, other reasons, but are still allowed to drink. How can you tell someone “I can’t serve you because you don’t drive.”? That makes absolutely no sense, makes you lose business, and your bartenders were really rude when telling us this rule. My friend looks like she’s under 21, she just turned 21 this year, so if they’re not even looking at her ID because they don’t believe she’s 21 they need to stop being so judgmental, realize that people can look younger than their age and just serve my friend at the only bar we feel comfortable going to because other people don’t...
Read moreI’ve been coming to Derby Grove City for a while and I’ve had the best time most recently when Payton is bartending on Saturdays. Her great attitude and energy really makes the experience so much better than with your regular shmegular bartender. She is fun and funny and also fun. She is attentive and quick on her feet, I rarely have to wait but even if I did (which I don’t) I wouldn’t be upset bc, well, it’s Payton. I like to think of us as friends. I thought about making her part of my wedding party and possibly the godmother to my future children. Sometimes I come in just to watch her bartend and I think “wow, she’s really good” Anyways, I just want it to be known that Payton is The Bartender. Added bonus when Connor was celebrity bartending. Iconic duo if you ask me. Props to the owners for finding top tier bartenders. I WILL be...
Read moreWent here on a Saturday night for the first time, it was a balanced experience. There was one weird bartender there that was making it difficult to get your order taken in a prompt manner, but otherwise, I liked what I saw.
It's a pool hall with pool leagues, lots of dart board machines, and a stage that has live music and dancing. The music on Saturday night was on-point! No issues there. Decently spaced patio that also has a bar outside if its busy enough. Also has lots of TVs for good sports watching. Inside of the Giant Eagle strip mall, next to Romeo's Pizza. I...
