Umphy's Chicken & Biscuit — Restaurant in Jackson

Definitely getting tired of coming to this location with the attitude that I receive in the drive through. Normally I could go inside and get treated proper but it seems as if the days that I have to go to the drive through you get a lot of attitude from whoever's taking orders. I went to the drive-thru this evening to place an order for a slider combo as I done many a times inside. Usually they ask you what type of slider The lady did not ask this time around and then she proceeded to say with a lot of attitude, your side and your drink. I just pulled off. I rather take my money and spend it somewhere else because I had more than just one combo to get. I feel that management needs to take a hold of this location this has happened more than once and it's frustrating because the food is usually good and I've not had an issue with my food especially when you've been out at work all day. Planning to come and eat at this establishment and you get treated like you do not matter. It is unacceptable and if they cannot treat their customers correctly they need to go ahead and just close...

I have driven by this restaurant for years when headed to work or shopping. I've not thought once to stop and get a biscuit at this place. Till one day I was helping a friend out way too early in the morning and I was told my payment would be a tenderloin biscuit and a thank you! Well, I appreciated the thank you but wanted to go elsewhere to get a biscuit. I was told to sit and hush. After all, I needed an intervention because my breakfast habits were falling short. I had been driving by the best biscuits in town and never knew it. So I gave in and followed my friend to this restaurant. I can only say that this was my first of many trips and there will be many to follow. This drive-thru line at 8 am is ridiculous. I can order, pay, and receive my food with a smile from some of the nicest ladies I've ever seen working in a drive-thru within 6 min most every time. I have so far tried the bacon, sausage, tenderloin, chicken and country ham biscuits. I could kick myself for all those...

I would've given 3 stars for food alone... it's just meh.... But issues with our call in order dropped it to 2 stars. We called in two separate orders, under two totally different names & were told it'd be ready in 20 mins. We got there about 25 later & got to the window to pay, it was all on one order. Finally got that resolved and we're asked to pull into a space and it'd be a few minutes for them to finish our order and bring it out. No problem..... Except we sat there for an additional 30 mins before our food arrived & only saw 3 vehicles at drive thru during that whole time. Finally got our food... We asked them to substitute pasta salad for baked beans and were told it wouldn't be a problem, but there was only baked beans in our bag and no pasta salad. We asked for no wings and there were lots of wings in our chicken order. Food was just ok. I can't say I'd ever choose to eat there again.
