Where to begin? I came here with a friend to get some light dinner. The atmosphere was loud as usual, and I was having trouble shouting over the noise. We were greeted with a sit down wherever you like, so we found a nice bar stool table. Not long after we sat down, our waitress greeted us with a drink order. My friend ordered a mixed drink and I ordered a half sweet tea. Both were brought out promptly. And a few minutes later we ordered. My friend ordered a nice salad, and I opted for the Main Street Pizza, with a request for light sauce. About 10 minutes later my friend received her salad and it was prepared nicely, no complaints yet.
Unfortunately this is where the good service ended. My friend ordered a glass of wine which arrived promptly with an added extra, someone else's lipstick (Yuck!). My pizza took a while longer to arrive than I was expecting, okay that can happen. About 20 minutes later the pizza arrived. Apparently they boxed the pizza and I was waiting for dine in. When the pizza finally arrived it was missing the marinara sauce (okay I thought, it's loud in the restaurant, our waitress probably mistook light sauce for white sauce, not going to complain, and I didn't), however it was also missing the fresh basil leaves. I contacted our waitress and asked about the basil. She brought me out a 2 ounce cup of wilted basil leaves. At this point I'm not quite satisfied, so I ask for a cup of marinara, which did arrive promptly. I have to ask how someone can screw up a pizza with only three components so badly, but I guess anything is possible in the area of participation trophies. Also my drink ran dry and I had to use the straw to make that slurping sound you get at the end of the glass to conjure a refill as our waitress was more concerned about the contents of her phone.
Much of this is forgivable, people get tired of working for a living, I get that, but don't offer me or my company a dirty dish. If you can't even clean your gear properly, I don't want to eat there, and I probably...

After placing our orders at Crispy’s we sat at the entrance of the restaurant to await our Liberty Street Pizza ($23) to go. Inside, we could see that it was spacious, and casually decorated – perfect for sports games on game day. After about 15 minutes, our pizza was ready and when we reached back to our AirBnB, it was still delicious.
The Liberty Street Pizza itself was HUGE! A freshly baked pizza that had fresh ingredients such as roasted chicken, spinach, feta and roasted pepper. Together with the roasted garlic white sauce, the grilled chicken and capsicum came out to be really delicious. Now we understand why Crispy’s was so crowded when we visited that evening...

Read moreI recently became gluten free on top of dairy free for the last six years. I haven't had pizza because the red sauce/tomato based anything, has also bothered me. But after suffering a loss yesterday after a loss last month, I said screw it, let's get pizza. So I googled GF pizzas near me and came across this spot after seeing pizza cave was closed. It was a mile from my house on the good side of 8th Street, so I went to make an order. It wouldn't allow me to order online from their link here, so I called directly. They were able to make a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese and pepperoni. I also requested really light red sauce. They said 20 minutes. So we drove in the rain to get there. Found some side street parking. I was told at arrival, it was ready, but come to find out, the pizza maker put peppers instead of pepperoni. I also can't have peppers with my numerous diet restrictions. So it took an additional 10 minutes to make. I asked for water while waiting. I would go there to eat in the future. I'm just glad the lady caught it before we left. The GF pizza is a thin crust, NY style pizza. The vegan cheese is okay. I'm still getting used to it myself. I'm just glad the sauce was there to almost hide some of the taste. Made sure to take a tums and pepcid to save me from the red sauce. All in all, the pizza was good. When I'm in the mood again in the future, I'll definitely stop...
