Outstanding Service by Leonardo at Delicias Colombianas Restaurante
I had the pleasure of dining at Delicias Colombianas Restaurante recently with my wife, and what made the experience truly memorable was the exceptional service provided by our server, Leonardo. From the moment we walked in, Leonardo greeted us with a warm and friendly smile, immediately making us feel welcome.
Leonardo’s knowledge of the menu was impressive. He took the time to explain each dish thoroughly, sharing insights into the ingredients and origins of Colombian specialties. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure we were well-informed about the best options to suit our tastes. We particularly appreciated how he made sure we were comfortable and well-prepared for the delicious meal ahead.
Throughout the morning, Leonardo was attentive but never overbearing. He checked in with us just the right amount, ensuring our drinks were topped off and that we had everything we needed without interrupting the flow of our lunch. His passion for the food and the restaurant’s offerings was evident, and his friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable.
The service, combined with the incredible flavors of the food, made for an unforgettable dining experience. Read moreI was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this gem. Tucked away in a large, slightly skeevy strip mall on Blanding, just south of Collins, the store was clean, airy and well-lit, and populated by customers mostly speaking Spanish. A good sign.
I had the Bandeja Paisa, and it did not disappoint. Even though I was hungry, I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish my meal. (Spoiler: I did )
The staff kept my iced tea filled, and there is a bakery/pastry station at the rear.
I was a -little- surprised to see a 3.5% 'convenience' fee included in the pricing when the bill arrived. Didn't see any mention of that posted anywhere, but I didn't go looking for such a notice, either. Not enough of an INconvenience to prevent a return visit.

Read moreI order through Uber Eats the driver picked up more than 2 orders and 1 hour latter and I still didn't get the food at all, I called the restaurant and the lady said that Uber Eats paid them so they don't care for their customer, I'll not recommend this place nor order from them. As I explained to you I have contacted them and they cancel the order and return my money, however that was after an hour dealing with them.
I only contacted you guys so that you also do something about it. YOU DO HAVE THE POWER TO SAY WE NOT GOING TO USE UBER EATS”. But you said it you already got paid and that’s what you care about it!
