The only reason this gets as high of a score as it does is because of my good experience at DOS. I'm a big fan of Mayday as I have been supporting for years!! Therefore, I trekked all the way across town to check it out. It was a little hard to find since I did not come the traditional way I came from the back side by light on the sugar so that aside when I finally arrived the staff wasn't all that nice or accommodating. If it wasn't for my great efforts getting there I would have left but I stayed and wish I hadn't. If this was my first experience here I would never return or recommend- however, because of my experiences at other locations in the past, I will continue to frequent those instead. I do however recommend DOS. Their strawberry matcha satisfied a craving I had all day and...
Read moreIt’s a cute place and the ice smells great. I sampled two flavors, blueberry Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the aviator and decided on the aviator. Ordered a single scoop on a small cone but the young man behind the counter didn’t hear that part I suppose and went for a bowl first. I spoke a little louder and asked for a small cone. Then proceeded to scoop multiple times to create one giant ball of ice cream that didn’t even fit into the small cone, switched to a bowl but at that point I didn’t even want it so I just handed back to him because it was too much. I know I’m the minority here but when I say one scoop on a small cone, I mean one singular scoop of ice cream. Not multiple scoops. Pretty bummed out honestly, was excited to try it for the first time but probably...
Read moreI have Celiac Disease and I come here all the time because of the GF icecream options. I always asked the employees to change their gloves and the icecream scooper and they never ever have any issues doing that for me. Went today 7/9/2024 @9 pm and the guy that was serving the ice cream was Caucasian, mid twenties, backwards red hat, and glasses to be more specific, was really rude. He did not wanted to change his gloves and told me that if I have Celiac Disease (gluten intolerance) I should not be eating in there. I said to him that its my choice of I get sick and he insisted like 3 times on not giving me the icecream. He did not wanted to change his gloves. He was really rude, really mean and he did not care that we left without buying...
