European Bakery — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Everything I tried was incredibly fresh. The cheese burek and meat burek had just come out of the oven. Both bureks tasted good, but the cheese one was a tiny bit doughy (not as crispy as the meat one..... But still very fresh and worth trying. The meat one was nicely seasoned and I would absolutely buy again. I wanted to try the spinach and cheese burek, but it was cooking still, so I was told to that I can call ahead next time to check first and I will absolutely do that for the next time.

Both the chocolate croissant and the strawberry and cheese danish were good, but I wouldn't not buy again for the price.

would give this place 10 stars if it was possible. Friendly Albanian family and they make some of the best byreks in northeast Florida! Being born in Albania and going back to visit family every 2-3 years and growing up getting a byrek on my walk to school in the morning in Albania as a young child, this place brings back great memories from back home. When my mom isn't making them for me at home because I have gotten used to my mothers byrek because she makes them like in Albania this place is the place to go to for Fresh byrek exactly like in Albania (si i bejn ne shqiperi).

Called because I noticed the cashier didn’t give me change after a small purchase and large bill I mentioned to owner that I was going to tip anyway because there was going to be alot of change, but I wanted to decide what it would be. I was going to just pay the extra to make another purchase with the amount kept. First don’t assume people do not want their change let them decide, this was my first time coming here on Monday. The owner was very rude to me a hung up on me when I told her about the situation she said she doesn’t know me. How can you know me if you’re not present for all walk in customers. Just watch...
