I’ve eaten here before and the food is generally really good. This morning I called in an order for my mother and myself. I ordered two orders of bacon and eggs with French toast and one cup of grits. I picked up the order that was in a bag and tied up. Two to go boxes and a container of grits so I figured it was correct. Paid and left. I got home to find one to go box for French toast and one with 4 slices of bacon and two eggs (cooked to order differently).
I called the restaurant to find out how many eggs and grits come in an order as it didn’t seem right. The lady confirmed 2 eggs and 4 slices of bacon. My irritation set in. I informed her I asked for two orders and got one that I now have to split between two people. She told me she thought it was one order and would I like to make another order to correct it. I’m not sure how that could have happened, because in making the order I specified two orders, originally ordered two cups of grits, then changed it to one as my mother didn’t want grits. Also, who orders two different types of eggs in one order?
I told her I’d already driven all the way home and no I didn’t want to come back. She confirmed that I’d only paid for one so that made me feel a little better, but my irritation was high as I hadn’t eaten in over 24 hours and was starving. I’d also just had a medical procedure done.
I called back in irritation to talk to the manager, but instead got another lady who was not management who made this review worth writing. Her logic was that it was my fault. She first insisted that orders are usually read back to ensure understanding. Which I informed her did not happen as my mother was sitting right there with me, and also confirmed a read back didn’t happen. She next asked me if I didn’t realize I’d only paid for one order. No I didn’t. Mainly because I rarely pay attention to what I pay for services until things go wrong. When I told her it wasn’t my fault the order was wrong she continued her combative stance with, “all I can try to do is make it right then move on”. That would have been correct had they attempted to understand the inconvenience their mistake caused. Instead, I got 1. Would you like to place another order, and then drive back to get it, and 2. It’s your fault we didn’t get it right, get over it.
I won’t be going back. I worked customer service in my youth, and I can promised you had I been the one to handle this call, I would have been appropriately apologetic, offered some kind of compensation, and then promised to do better in the future. Don’t look for service like this at First...

The food was as nasty as the owners attitude! We were all flabbergasted by her behavior. I truly do not see how the staff deals with working for someone absolutely so unbelievably RUDE. We did not even touch the peach cobbler after one of our coworkers expressed how disgusting it was. So we simply asked for it be taking off. Not only did she not apologize or try to make it right. She called us liars to our face 🙄 then proceeded to find our waitress to question her to see if what we said was indeed true. If you would love to eat rice pudding with peaches then by all means be my guest! Run don't walk to this place! If you want to order a well done burger and receive a raw one then this is your place! Read moreI've been here 3 times. The first time was for breakfast which was greasy and half of it was undercooked while the other half was overcooked. The gravy was cold and the biscuits were stale. I gave this place a second chance and came by a week later for lunch which was great. No complaints and the sandwhich was made perfectly. Today I came in for lunch and ate my lunch there but ordered 2 to go sandwhiches. I was late so I paid and left only to find when I got home I was charged for my meal and my two to go meals but only recieved ONE of my to go sandwhiches and it wasn't even the one I ordered. It was also sloppy and thrown into the box. I gave it 2 stars because while I wasn't completely dissatisfied I am still highly upset. I will NOT be going back.
