I would truly give this zero stars if possible. We had been on a road trip and booked it and paid and didn't want to lose our money but I was truly terrified of bugs and for our safety. When we first walked in the floor inside the hotel room was soaking wet (it was raining and rain came right in) it was a non smoking room and the smell of cigarettes hit you so strong. The "comforter" had black stains allllll over.ans cigarette burn marks we always check.for bed bugs and the mattress.looked.like a murder scene blood all over it crumbs and filth in the lip of the mattress, the bathro.door didn't even shut the knob was hanging off, the floor was sooooo beyond dirty. They painted the walls, and painted right ocer.the cob webs and spiders. The sheets where so dirty amd gritty I think they don't change the bedding and just re fid the bed. It was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom fan didn't work. Toilet seat had burn marks all.over it. Toilet didn't flush had to reach inside the tank to get it to flush. The lock on the door was busted off. I put the desk and chairs in front of the door, all night some guy walked back and forth and was smoking and coughing and dragging feet and yelling and making noises outside our door. When we went for the breakfast was all expired and not even cold.juice, apple juice was so spoiled u can smell it as u poured it. We hope we didn't get any bugs or anything from there. It was absolutely disgusting. The pillows smelled like.scalp like haven't been washed in a long time. When we get home I will be calling a manager and explaining how disgusting this was!
Edit to management...
Read moreThis is the best hotel I've stayed at in the entire Little Rock area, including other Super 8s. I stayed there for a few months and it was a very positive experience.
Highlights: The staff and management are friendly and helpful. They've gone above and beyond to look out for us and make sure we have what we need. If there are problems, they deal with them efficiently, and they are very accommodating to their guests. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Large mini fridge. Mattresses are in good condition. Anti-bedbug/waterproof mattress covers are a plus. Linens/pillows are high quality and always super clean - no mustiness or weird smells. The AC units are well maintained and work great. Building is very quiet, you can't hear the neighbors at all. Plenty of hot water. Bathrooms are VERY clean, no mold or nasty plumbing. Many rooms were recently remodeled. Carpet has been replaced with hardwood flooring.
Drawbacks: Driving in the parking lot is a little tight sometimes, but there's a lot of overflow parking. Many of the non-smoking rooms are adjacent to smoking rooms, and sometimes you can smell it coming in from outside, or through the bathroom vent. (This happens in any motel with smoking rooms though - I'm not sure if it can be avoided.) The stairs are a bit challenging for those with disabilities.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing an affordable, comfortable stay. Thank you Jacksonville Super 8 for all your hard work...
Read moreJust like another guest pointed out, party hotel. Idiots up all night crashing things into the wall, slamming the bathroom door opened like 20 times a night like they are having a rivalry with someone!! Called up at the desk it was a joke! I got hung up on then the second time put on hold when I can hear a black female in the background laughing & talking to this idiot who did NOTHING!! Heard this crap the entire week I stayed. It's not worth coming to unless you like putting up with inconsiderate morons plus to memtion them blaming loud noise on the Satellite tv guys when it was the idiot behind me the whole time!! Overall construction going. On right outside the motel was noisy & congested. Go to the next town if you can, you are better off!! Edit: the Manager has since called & came to a reasonable conclusion. I appreciate the Customer Service given by her. The rooms are a good rate & clean. The management seems to care when there is an issue & she wanted it resolved. I would stay here again just a...
