This is a very close call for 5 ā but a few little things caused the 4 ā rating. First Watch has been at this location for almost two years and we have driven past it numerous times but today after giving blood we decided to stop in for Brunch. Getting into the strip mall where several stores are located is a bit of a challenge if you are heading east on Baymeadows needing to make a U-Turn in order to enter. Parking is ok but if you are heading back east after eating will need to cross two lanes in order to do a U-Turn going east again. Were seated in a nice not too busy place and waited for our server...tick tock tick tock this kind of bothered Bill. Mark finally came and must say he was a joy and professional as regretfully my meal had more small mistakes than it should have had. Decaf coffee was good and warm but expected a bit more stronger coffee from it so 4 ā. Bill ordered an Omelet which was delicious and the most meat he has ever had in one a real carnivore delight so that's 5 ā BUT the potatoes while good were warm as opposed to hot and the Sourdough Toast only hardly toasted so that dropped those items to 3 ā. My Eggs Benedict was ordered without Tomato (am allergic to š ) and a Rougla Salad with Lemon Dressing... got potatoes and Tomatoes so had to send it back. Also was not a fan of the bread choice as opposed to English muffins and will ask for it in the future so the meal was 3 ā. Now Mark did a great job getting it corrected so must 5 ā that. Nice touch was bringing us To-go coffee cups for the almost full second pot of coffee we had. Overall this location can easily be a 5 ā but as always must call it the way we see it and can assure Mark that we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNew Baymeadows location has lots of room for improvement. Like at the other restaurant on San Jose, they serve (what should be hot food) on a cold plate. It is such a basic culinary technique to serve hot food on a hot plate but they just put food on a cold plate, let it sit for a couple minutes in the open before it gets delivered to the table. By the time we got our food, it was pretty cold. Such a careless and thoughtless way to serve food when people are paying for the industry standard of āhot food on a hot plateā. Management needs to take another look at their culinary practices and go back to the basics because they totally missed this one. Epic failure for such a big name franchise. Then the biscuits and gravy I ordered was WAY overloaded with white pepper. Again, such a basic yet epic fail to make such a simple mistake of dumping in too much white pepper. Then, the chef should taste the batch of gravy and if it isnāt right, then donāt serve it and start over. They also need a sign that says no pets and/or to enforce not allowing pets. Some lady was allowed to bring in her dog that looked like an abandoned shelter rescue off the street. It was totally...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLiterally amazing!! Iām disabled and because of such, I have a service dog. I called ahead, and checked they had a booth- they did, and I believe they saved it for me. The staff was so professional. No one tried to touch my dog, or judged her for her mess ups. Sheās still in training, and they simply ignored her and let me correct her and work with her. Our waiter was Femme (Femmy?) and he was literally amazing. He was super friendly, and gave awesome drink recommendations. Food was fast, and and he was a super amazing server. I was having a terrible morning health and mentality wise, and he genuinely made my day, as well as my friends. The food was amazing, and so was the service. Iāll definitely be coming back soon, and hopefully regularly. Unfortunately I forgot to get food photos but hereās some of my service dog under the table⦠ever so grateful for them having great manners with her. Nothing is more annoying or upsetting then when sheās trying to work and being distractedā¦And Iām still not over how great our server was. Seriously give this man a bonus or something. Well done to this restaurant and very well done to...
