I live up the street from here so I was beyond excited when I found out they were building a starbucks. However that was short lived because up until 5 months ago there was always issues. Either the doors were locked & you were forced to go through the drive through line so unless I left 45 minutes early to get to my job that was 2 miles away I would be late so my excitement about the new Starbucks was short lived because I stopped going there and went to the one that was further away. Don’t even get me started with the way they designed the parking lot! It’s the worst! Whoever designed that parking lot hopefully lost their job because they certainly didn’t know what they were doing the drive through is backed up to the street, if you are trying to go inside you cant get into the parking lot with the line of cars and every one in the drive through line thinks you are going to pull in front of them & you are only trying to park. They always had either the store locked or drive through closed for months it was always one of them were closed & the other open you could never order from the app. If I wrote this review months ago they would have received 0 stars however they turned it around, did a total 180! New manager?? Or maybe complaints to corporate whatever it was it worked! Everything but the design of the parking lot but thats out of their control. One thing they were consistent with is they never screwed up my drink order (up until last month they literally had to make my drink 3xs finally someone experienced made it and it was good) thankfully I don’t have any issues anymore. Anyway since im reviewing now i give 5 stars because staff is always friendly (even from day one) no more doors or drive through closed & drink is on point! Read moreI've waited a few days to leave this review because our experience was so bad, I wanted to make sure I had perspective. That being said, this is what happened:
My husband and I were admittedly in a hurry, anxious to get a tea for me and get out, so we ordered ahead of time via the app. We tried another Starbucks before this but not only were they not accepting order aheads, but their dining room was closed before 7PM. Strange, but whatever.
After waiting entirely too long in the drive thru line (the app tells me to do that instead of going inside) we finally pull up to the window and this girl who is already speaking to my husband like he is a child ("sweetie", "hon", "love", ex) even though she looks to be no older than 21, hands him this piping hot tea with the lid not secured and no sleeve. He proceeds to spill it the second he picks it up and she just watches with a smile on her face. No apology, no offer to help in any way, shape or form, just grinning as he proceeds to burn himself.
When he asked for help, she says "Sure, love" and hands him a wad of napkins with what sounds like a small giggle.

Read moreRacially insensitive atmosphere while dining in.The onsite manager I spoke via phone was very professional, for him I give 5 stars but for the workers behind the counter, very selfish. They allowed my breakfast sandwich to get cold and.served my coffee 15minutes later(dine) His assistance manager was equally rude. Her "response was what can i do about it?" There Panera bread down the street very professional and welcoming atmosphere. Not all Starbucks are the same. While the onsite manager was welcoming I cannot say the same for the rest of people he has working for him behind the counter. Dont let your customers food get cold and make an excuse. It was a simple breakfast sandwich and coffee order. Being a member of the health care industry for more than 20 years I get exposed to racial insensitivity daily but I have deal with it despite the challenges. Have a good cup of coffee and a hot breakfast sandwich brings a sense of peace before I begin my day. The staff members decided my money didnt matter and let my sit for more than 10min and my coffee was not recieved until 15 min later. Such a demeaning dine...
