I have been treating at this facility for one and a half years roughly. I have had good experiences the entire time. This is a few things about some of the employees that at the facility who I have developed a relationship with. Anthony is one of the best front desk and customer service employees I have ever dealt with. He is always kind and very understanding. He is tenacious and is a good example of what other companies should look for in customer service. Jazlyn is a very well coordinated and detailed every time I have dealt with her. She always has a smile on her face and that makes a big difference. Barbara is a sensitive and very good at deep tissue and soft tissue massages. She also has strong hands if you need them. Steven is another massage therapist who recently started with NFMC. I would recommend him 10/10 if you visit the office. Austin Pitts is very good with clear communication and understanding. He is one of the most patient people in the facility and it has been a pleasure to have him at the office to greet every week. Dwayne is very down to earth and pays attention to detail with paperwork and in my experience one of the quickest to get you in and out of medical. Sherry is very well trained at trigger points and is always on point in the location you have pain. She has a light touch and takes her time to ensure you are treated properly. Stan is one of the best for physical therapy you could ask for. Not only does he make it fun he also provides great conversations and keeps you laughing through the entire process. He will have you done before you know it without a single worry. Ashley is a precise and bright chiropractor that will provide you with very good service and conversation. I feel better every time I leave her office. Last but not least, Rainey Hogan. She has a very good relationship with everyone and works very hard to take care of all her patients and customers. Every time I have had a question or concern she handles it immediately. It’s very hard to find a manager that is as passionate and as hard of a worker as she. Any ups and downs that may have occurred she has personally taken care of it and gone out of her way to help. If you are looking for a place to receive care I would highly recommend this office. I have built a personal connection with everyone here and my body has improved far beyond any of my expectations. The equipment is up to date and they keep the facility very clean. I enjoy every time I go to the office. If you are like me and you are in a lot of pain some days. This office would be the best to be treated at. Thank you everyone at North Florida...
Read moreThis is the worst experience I have ever had going to the doctor. My 1st visit was pretty standard... To thier credit the got me in the back pretty quick. I sat back there kinda a long time which I expected, I did have a late evening appointment so I forgave the extended time.. (not really an excuse, they should have been staffed properly if I was scheduled) but it was fine. The Dr. that I was see by was very nice and listened to my concerns and told me about my RX and that they would call them in to my local drug store the next day which was fine. The next day at the drug store..No RX! The following day I called to find out why, was told I would get a call. no call but walgreens called and said my rx was ready. went to get it, only 1 of the 2 she said i needed was there.... called the next day to find out why.. same deal.. Finally i got my other rx.. I get labs done 1 week before my next scheduled appointment... I show up at my appointment and they dont have my labs and nobody knew why or what the hell was going on! It took them an hour to figure it out.. I was told that when they got them I would be called about my results... no call, i called the next day... was told I would be called back... still no call.. soooo two copays down the drain, 2 hours pto from my job for nothing and I still dont have a clue what going on with me... Needless to say the first chance I get I will be going to get my records for next Dr I try to be seen by. I dont know if this is an isolated thing but it just does not seem they have much experience with family medicine... Idk I came to this place based on reviews so either they are fake, they dont like me or they dont know what...
Read moreIn most healthcare practices, there may be one or two different specialties in the same location. With our office, we have SEVEN under the same roof:
(1) a Medical Doctor (2) a Pain Management Doctor (3) a Chiropractor (4) a Physician's Assistant (5) a Nurse Practitioner (6) a Physical Therapist (7) a Licensed Massage Therapist
What does that mean to you as a patient?
Whenever a healthcare provider needs a second opinion about a patient, it could take weeks or longer to get a response. Even worse, there's a good chance that the two providers will never even talk to each other about the patient.
In our office, when any one of us needs a second opinion, we walk right down the hall, knock on one of the other provider’s doors, and we ask them directly. We actually communicate directly with each other about our patients! Better yet, that process happens within minutes, not weeks.
This collaborative healthcare model is the wave of the future in patient care, and it's already happening at North Florida Medical Center.
I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of history, and I look forward to spending the rest of my chiropractic career with...
