We arrived at Gogis at 5 PM Valentines weekend. First customers of the evening, my Besty and me. Our Galentine dinner. The menu that hung on the outside of the window was not the menu that we received but fairly close. We both ordered the pork chop which was absolutely divine. The most tender pork chop I’ve ever had in my life! We also ordered the strawberry ginger martini which was out of this world delicious. For dessert tiramisu you can’t go wrong. The atmosphere was lovely. There was something that did bother me, and while I’m somewhat embarrassed that it did, I still want to address it. Both Lorie and I were dressed up for this special dinner and the hostess complemented my friend Lorie on her beautiful sweater and then the server complemented Lorie on her beautiful earrings. Neither hostess or server acknowledged me. We were both dressed up for our evening. Two single women, feeling beautiful My philosophy is if you complement one woman you should complement the other one. It really bothered me for some reason, maybe it was because it was my first valentine dinner after my divorce. I felt pretty but was not validated. Again, maybe it was just my mood but it hurt my feelings. We split the bill it was $73 each that included our tips . Very spend he but we felt it...

The chef sent out a little sample, beautifully served in the cutest ramekin. And then our outstanding appetizer came, with homemade bread as well. Our entrees were arrayed beautifully as well, with portion size perfect! ( I am a foodie)....Food was excellent! Dessert was a flaming Gran Marnier (sp?) creme brule with a homemade cookie and candied orange slice(made in house), and we ordered lattes as well with peaks of the best foam ever!.....The entire experience was wonderful! I want to try brunch next!.... Please go and enjoy this place. My experiences with restaurants where an owner is also the chef have always been the best! You can taste the passion for cooking and creating in his food and see it in the...
Read moreI was into Gogis restaurant a few weeks ago with my family to announce my coming out at my grandmothers birthday party. The food was all perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. There was a barrel planter in the corner of the bar with a plat sticking out of it extremely high. We got to meet all of your serverice staff, with Kenzie’s friendly greeting, Bryce’s exquisite knowledge of the menu, Julie’s perfect wine pairings and Matt had what appeared to be a fresh hair cut. The table was immaculately set when we arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. We will be back soon for another whimsical experience that is Gogis! I can’t wait to try one of their craft cocktails next time! I hope they find a pot that better fits that barrel planter as it was a distraction, since I only take half a pill a day now, but if not for that would have been 5...
