Howieluv's pizza wings and subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Do you like good food? Let me tell you about Howie Luv's! So I had a few friends that recommended Howie Luv's to me so I decided to try it out. The first thing I picked up was the Garlic Parmesan 8 piece wings with fries. The wings are a good size, (not them little pigeon wings) and are very flavorful. The Garlic sauce has a very nice hint of garlic (not overbearing) and covered the wings well with parmesan sprinkled as well. Next up was the Philly with fries, It was mouth watering. The steak had flavor and I got all the trimming, peppers, onions, mushrooms. Everything is made to order so have a little patience for quality. Next was the Sausage Pepper and Onions, in sandwich form ( pasta available) the sauce was very flavorful and had just the right amount of everything blended perfectly. Today I had just a typical Meat Lovers large pizza and it really was the best pizza I have had in the past 25 years. My husband ordered through Door Dash. We ordered a Steak sub, 8 pc wings, Deep Fried Oreos, Zeppolis, and Jalapeño Poppers. The Steak Sub had NO description! So it wasn't great when my husband took a few bites of his sandwich and realized there were mushrooms on it ( he is allergic to mushrooms!!!!!!!!!). Real smart people! 😭 The wings were nit crunchy at all. I ordered garlic and Parmesan. I think y'all forgot the Parmesan because I didn't taste it at all. All I tasted was garlic and lots and lots of butter. The Zeppolis are like ones I have heve seen before. Even the shwpes are strange. This may be because y"alo are just wanting to be different, which is great but y'all need to drain your fried items a lot longer because they were way too oily. The Fried Oreos were so soft and oily that inly one wws eaten and the rest ended up in the garbage. WAY TOO OILY! Who makes square ones anyway???? Jalapeño Poppers....mehhhh they were a little oily but...

Omg! When I tell you this place is a hidden jewel please believe me! Instead of a fancy dinner or a party and taking an expensive trip. For our 14th year wedding Anniversary my husband and I went back to how we started and did the simple things that made us fall in love with each other! We met Howie shopping at Sam Club and he told us about his truck. So with us being Foodies we decided to start our day off with Howie and I'm so glad we did! We received the best customer service! He catered with a taste testing while preparing our orders. We ordered the jalepeno poppers with his special sauce, meat lovers stromboli, pepperoni pizza rolls, wings and fries! Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. I can go on and on and on about the customer service! You can literally taste the love and passion with each bite!
