I originally hired Janellie with Blush Beauty Bar for my wedding makeup after doing 2 other trials that I wasn’t crazy about. Janellie executed my makeup flawlessly and even covered up my blemishes perfect and shaped my non existent eyebrows. She understood my love of glitter and really listened to what I wanted. My wedding had to be rescheduled due to COVID-19 and within minutes of me texting Janellie to ask if my new wedding date was acceptable, she immediately responded that it was and that she would change me. Excellent customer service. I figured since she would be doing my makeup, I should go in for skin treatments to make her job smoother when the wedding comes. We did the dermaplane on my skin and she took her time and didn’t cut me like that last place I had do this treatment on me did. My dry, flaky, broken out skin turned into a smooth, blemish free canvas!! It is amazing. She also waxed my eyebrows and I swear I will never let any one else touch my brows now. Janellie really took her time and drew on a shape for my shapeless brows to try and get them to grow in to a shape and they’ve never looked better! I have been told by many people that I needed to go here. A co-worker, the lady at my nail salon...SO many friends! Let's just say I am glad I took the jump and made an appointment with Asia for my birthday 🎂 I was so nervous because I have had my lashes done before and they hurt so bad that I ended up plucking out the ones that didn't fall off naturally. So to say that I was apprehensive to try again is an understatement. However, Asia blew me away with her gentleness!! I could hear myself starting to snore a few times, and at one point I woke up kicking and panicked and she calmly said "You're ok, you are okay!!!" I will highly recommend Blush Beauty Bar to everyone and anyone who asks for an amazing lash place! Blush Beauty Bar is by far the best place in Jacksonville for all things beauty. I started getting my lash extensions and brows waxed/tinted with Janellie after my bridal trial with Blush for hair and make-up. My lashes always look incredible, and it has become a new addiction! Khadijah also did my nails for my wedding day, she listened to exactly what I wanted, and they came out perfectly. On the day of my wedding, we could not have been happier with how the hair and make-up came out. I received non-stop compliments from our guests, and my hair and make-up still looked incredible at the end of the night when we were sweaty from dancing so much at the reception.
