Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Jacksonville

The food was good. Customer service was horrible. As soon as we walked in, one of the workers told us our food should be done in just a minute. We told him we didnt order yet and he said ok and turned around and started talking the the guy cooking on the grill. When he turned around again he asked if we needed anything else and we told him again that we didnt order. Once we placed our order (tuna sub Mike's way and a chipotle chicken cheese steak) he asked for our name for the order incase they started getting busy (there was only 1 other guest there in front of us) we gave him our name and he started making the tuna and asked what we wanted on it. Told him Mike's way for the 2nd time and we paid. We sat down waiting on the chicken cheesesteak and waited about 5 minutes. We then went back to the counter to see what was taking so long and the "ticket was misplaced" so no one had made our order. I asked the lady wearing a red shirt what happened (thinking maybe she was the manager) and she said she didnt know because she didnt take the order and started helping another guest. Went into this location at 840pm and they were already putting up the food.

I asked for a mega tuna on white The bread was hard as a rock

For some reason one of the guys stared to put provolone cheese on the bread never asking me what type of cheese I wanted which was American

When I asked what was he doing he said making a turkey.

Turkey and tuna doesn’t sound the same.

After we redirected his train of thought to Tina he and another gentleman decided to fix my sub

I asked for extra mayonnaise

The mayonnaise gushed from the. Side of the sandwich like ice cream that was melting.

After paying for my meal and feeling how hard the bread was I asked to exchange the bread for a softer roll.

He gave me the bread but placed it not on a napkin or sheet but the metal Counter.

I was absolutely floored and disgusted disappointed and will NEVER return here again.

If you all want Jersey Mike’s go to the location on Southside or Roosevelt.

The staff this evening provided poor unacceptable customer service.

Ordered the Giant Philly Cheese Steak (#17) for takeout — $17.95 plus $6 for extra meat, totaling $23.95. If that was “double meat,” I’d hate to see the regular. The meat was dry, and there were barely any grilled onions, peppers, or cheese. It was completely flavorless — even ketchup couldn’t save it.

I live 20–25 minutes away, so I didn’t return that night. Called the next day — no manager. Called again — the manager said nothing could be done since I didn’t still have the sandwich. I submitted a complaint through the corporate site and never heard back. Not even a basic apology.

I’m tired of overpaying for mediocre food and getting zero accountability. This used to be a reliable spot, but sadly, it feels like poor quality and poor service are the new normal at...
