Horrible place to work. Horrible management. I usually don’t leave reviews after a bad experience at a job but this 1 is necessary. Maybe I can save someone else from wasting their time & energy at this place like I did. For 1. During my “interview”, the manager told me that her whole crew “quit”, & because I’ve experienced bad jobs in my past, I already knew there was a big problem there but I decided to see for myself. I thought maybe it’d work out in my favor. God willing. 2. The managers are extremely rude/disrespectful towards SOME of the employees. Management is lazy, argumentative with any customer that has an issue with their order due to their lack of accuracy when making orders or when a customer reacts to how rude/disrespectful they can be. During the whole duration of my employment there, not once was I able to clock myself in & out or receive clock in or clock out slips to help keep track of my hours in their system to assure that I was paid for all of my time. I was shorted 16 hours of pay when I got paid. They had me doing the most in there while they all just sat or stood around & talked about people. They hired another girl after they hired me & they ran her off so fast. They treated her horribly. If that was my daughter, I’d be snappin. They hardly trained the girl & put her on the table making orders & rudely yelled at her anytime she didn’t understand something. You can’t NOT train someone but expect them to know how something’s done. I felt so bad for that girl. God does not like ugly. They owe me 3 more days of pay but at this point, I don’t even care. I’m just glad I left. Horrible experience. One of many, unfortunately. People need to stop making people like...
Read moreThe worst interview ever. I'm a retired builder with 10 years in fire department in Jersey, manager had interview questions and as I tried to answer them kept getting interrupted by personal phone calls after all the questions she never elaborated on my answers, seemed disinterested in me. She finally got up and went into kitchen, I sat there for 25 more minutes and an employee told me that I guess she was done and that the gm will call .it took 3 weeks to try to get job there, then was told that cooks make 12.00 an hour. How absurd. All other fast foods are paying 14-15 an hour. Poor wages in poor area? I live around the corner. I have an excellent work record for 30 years but not interested in someone who's would be a good advantage for kfc. So many interruptions ... Noticed new employee bee bopping around with headphones on in eating area on brake I guess. I'd be afraid that I wouldn't be trained right. I'm about the customer, pleasing them first and foremost. I read some serious bad reviews. I've eaten at KFC for 35 years. Professional people need to be in this place, bring it back to it's standards. I surely wouldn't like to be talked to any kind of way, that would not sit well with me. Alot if on the personal phone going on, well, probably won't hire me anyway. Pray for the people who work there they need...
Read moreI visited this location on north main street in Jacksonville Florida. I've just relocated to Florida, retired marine 2nd Lieutenant. Upon pulling up to the drive through window, I ordered the hot wings (6) meal. I then proceeded to the drive through and I ask the staff that was working the window if they honors the retired military with a discount. What appeared to be a manager or team lead yelled from the back "No, we don't take any kind of discounts from no one". While waiting at the widow for my order, the staff stated it would be a 10 minute wait, which was no problem with me. HOWEVER, there was no wait they served me my order, the wings were for sure overlooked in old grease and had been sitting under the heat lamp for hours. Is this what customers get from this location, nevertheless a veteran who's served his country for 20 years. Horrible customer service. Please take a look at who you're putting in management, supervision and lead positions. When people, restaurants, customer service shows you themselves the first time, believe it....
