McDonald's — Restaurant in Jacksonville

This is unusual for this McDonald's for me to have to give one star, but this order was a negative five stars, because I ordered cinnamon melt and a frappe. unfortunately the cinnamon melt was loaded down with so much butter and glaze that it was running out through the bag in the girl's hand when she handed it to me and unfortunately I was preoccupied by an important phone call and did not notice that it also was pouring out of the box all over me as I was taking it out of the bag. Oh and actually she did forget the frappe to begin with, so I so I told the girl that she forgot it and she friendly accepted my request and return with the buffet but then still hand me a bag dripping onto me which I had to ask)and it was very amazing really well made but I was dealing with the stuff all over my lap and she came back and I just looked at her and then my life that's what you say I'm amazed just to me and I'm having a drive away right now because I have to get to an appointment within a certain amount Of time which is of the utmost importance that I didn't even have time to tell her about herself and she just looked at me like a deer in headlights. now I haven't been to thisMcDonald's in quite some time but it used to be very efficient, quick and everything was good probably still the same way maybe this girl just not have herr mind on what she was doing at that point in time but it was a very disappointing experience for me well I went on and on enough about the frosting and stuff all over me that now I'm going to say that they were good although very sloppilly boxed...

My husband and I have had multiple negative experiences yet decided to give them another chance tonight. I work as a manager in the food service industry as well, so I completely understand wait times, feeling overwhelmed, and not wanting to engage with customers, however i am extremely overwhelmed and hurt by tonight's experience. We placed our order, and the DTO was very short, which is okay. When we got up to the window to receive our food, I misunderstood. We had ordered two shakes, two burgers, and a fry, and the order they tried to verify was a shake, two burgers, and a fry.When I received the food, I realized my mistake and apologized noting that I misunderstood and I felt bad. I repeated my order back, and when they realized the order wasn't even there, the manager was called over. I understand the procedure. When I repeated my mistake to the manager, even apologizing over and over, I was met with not a drop of kindness. I asked if I could even pay for the shakes again at the window, and she refused saying i'll need to go to the end of the drive thru line and order again. I drove away feeling like trash and crying uncontrollably. I understand it was my mistake however how they treated me made me feel even worse. I do not feel welcome to come back here, and will need a major break before considering...

Without question, this is the worst McDonalds in Jacksonville, and more likely the worst I’ve been to anywhere. It’s nearly guaranteed that your food will come wrong, comically late, sloppy, burned, or not at all. My latest trip netted me a burned McGriddle which I’ve never seen happen before and after a 20 minute wait still couldn’t get a single person to put together my drink so I had to go buy one from the gas station.

It’s one thing to have hard days and mess ups occasionally. That’s normal and expected but this location almost exclusively puts out bad product regardless of how busy they are or time of day. I’ve here and there over the last several years come here and am almost always borderline offended with what I’m given. There’s a deep rooted problem with this location to be this bad for so many years and I cannot recommend enough to not come to this location and try a different one. UPDATE: tried to give them another chance today and waited 30 minutes for nuggets just to find out it had been ready the entire time but never brought out because they couldn’t be bothered to ask the other curbside order if they wanted a different drink because they were out of sprite. So instead of bringing mine out at least and asking then, they did nothing and waited until we walked up and gave us cold food...
