First time in La Canasta, it was a pleasant experience, for a moment brought back memories from the old country, they have food products from Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, etc. They also sell candy from different countries and refreshments. Awesome place for Spanish foods. They even carry The Goya Malt. Tons of options for anyone really. Candies, drinks, ingredients, you name it and within reason they have it. Definitely worth stopping by and checking this place out. The employees were very courteous and helpful as well.

If you looking for all your mexican or latino food or ingredents. THIS IS THE PLACE IN JACKSONVILLE, i feel its the only store that has it all. Dont waste your time on other mexican store. The customer service is kinda dry most of the time (In my opinion) I feel like you should always try to give your best enegry to people and help them find what they are looking for. Most international markets accept EBT and the ones that don't usually have a sign right on the door saying they don't. This place did not have a sign so after getting a basket full of items and checking out I didn't find out til I ran the card and it was declined. The cashier didn't know if they accepted it or not and he slso didn't even know how to sign up a customer to the...

La Canasta is my favorite place for those special spices. The only negative about this place is the "guys" at the register hardly like to make conversation and avoid interaction. * So don't ask questions 🤣 *will give 5 stars when they have better communication skills. Also please welcome your guest when they come in, it's so quiet and awkward...
