Itās the day after Christmas and my grandmother and mother-in-law have spent the night at my house after a large family dinner the previous evening. I donāt feel like cooking so I suggest getting some breakfast from McDonalds. My wife and her mom want an egg McMuffin and my grandmother and myself decide on a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. Thereās a McDonalds five minutes away on Old St. Augustine road, but I stopped going there months ago after seeing how completely broken this location is. I know thereās a McDonalds on San Jose blvd, but I remember thereās also one at the exit just before San Jose, I believe itās also on Old St. Augustine road. I decide to drive there thinking it will save a little time.
I pull up to the drive through.
āGo ahead with your order.ā āIād like two sausage egg and cheese McMuffins, and two egg McMuffins and one hashbrown please.ā

The screen then immediately goes blank and so far nobody has confirmed the order. Nobody says anything for at least one minute so I start to pull up. As I start to drive towards the first window I hear someone through the drive through speaker say āHello?ā
I pull up to the first window and a lady opens the window.
āJust to make sure the order is correct, itās two sausage egg and cheese McMuffins, and two egg McMuffins and one hashbrown.ā
āThatās correct, twelve even.ā
I insert my credit card and pay the twelve dollars.
I pull up to the second window and a different lady opens the window and tries to repeat my order but gets confused so I again repeat my order.
āItās two sausage egg and cheese McMuffins, and two egg McMuffins and one hashbrown.ā
She still looks confused and I hear someone in the back say āThose were supposed to be egg McMuffins.ā
The lady at the window tells me to pull around and theyāll bring it out to me. āOk but it sounds like theyāre very confused back there so let me repeat this one more time just to make sure. Itās two sausage egg and cheese McMuffins, and two egg McMuffins and one hashbrown.ā
āYes thatās what I told the manager.ā She said.
āOk but it sounds like theyāre confused.ā I replied.
She assured me that the order would be correct.
I pulled around and parked in front of the store. Six minutes later the lady from the second window comes out to my car and hands me a bag. I open the bag and see three sandwiches and a hash brown. One of the sandwiches looks thin and says sausage McMuffin on the wrapper. I open it up and itās just a sausage McMuffin with no egg. I take the bag and step out of the car.
āNope, itās still not right.ā I say to the lady. We both walk back inside.
āDo I have to write it down? Iām not sure how else to communicate this. Thereās supposed to be four sandwiches. Two of them are sausage egg and cheese McMuffins. The other two are egg McMufffins.ā
She opens the bag and starts taking out the sandwiches and unwrapping them. Of course sheās not wearing any gloves because she works the register.
āIt looks like youāre just missing the two egg McMuffins.ā
āWell Iām not sure what this is.ā I say pointing to the sausage McMuffin with no egg.
She goes into the back.ā
āI need two egg McMuffins.ā She says.
āThatās not what he paid for.ā Another lady interjects.
They start arguing among themselves about my order. At this point Iāve had enough. I leave the bag of unwrapped sandwiches on the counter and walk out while they are still arguing. I donāt bother trying to get my twelve dollars back because I canāt stomach having to deal with them for another second. Congratulations, new level of incompetence unlocked!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame in at 10:44am to order for me and my mom. I bit into my bacon qtr cheese hamburger and immediate tasted something was off. I looked at it and found it was very pink on the inside.. I went and showed it to the cashier and she was shocked as well so showed it to a lady/ coworker wearing a red shirt. The cashier although new handled it well and was sweet. I waited for the hamburger to be redone minutes passed. I tried being patient but too much time had passed so went up and the cashier lady was very surprised and asked if I was still waiting. I said yes she informed the red shirt lady again. The red shirt lady looked at me annoyed and answered aggravated I'm working on it and asked her cook if they were working on it they said yes. Waited some more watched several other just arrived customers get their order completed. So by then it was already 11:15 and I went up again the red shirt said that's not your order I told her I understand but my undercooked hamburger has still not been completed. She asks the cook about it and he is under the impression he's suppose to be working on a different order. So I see him just now beginning to work on mine. So I wait again then decide after abundant patience that I just want my money back and to have the managers contact info. So only when I said that was my hamburger suddenly ready and remade. Since I finally got my hamburger remade and this time it was cooked I didn't ask for the money back but still horrible experience were the new cashier lady was behaving at the level one would wish management to behave. Yet the red shirt lady which I imagine is a supervisor was impatient with me and snarky when saying we are working i" only for me to find out they were not instead they ignored me while attending all other new orders and just only began working on mine the second time I went up to inquire about it.I was not even trying to escalate things or threatening a health risk report or stressing on why they can complete 4 other new full meal orders but not get my one hamburger replacement done when waiting past 20min. I don't know maybe if you can't speed up cooking a burger paddy don't pretend you are working on it and be snarky to a person giving you an abunandance of understanding. I did not wrong them yet the lady in red was acting like I was a nuisance and the one wrong for waitingto get cooked beef paddy. Lol i hope they promote that newbie cashier and give her the red shirts position because at least she was being empathetic and and not looking at me like how dare you ask for the mangers number and also understood that amount of wait time was ridiculous. Yeah I got a cooked beef paddy almost a full hour later and only after inquiring about the managers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped at this McDonald's after shopping in the plaza that this location is in. I went through the drive through and ordered a cheeseburger, small fries & 1 kids meal. I noticed the line was moving fast which I initially found pleasant. After paying at the first window, I went to the second to get my food. A male manager was running this window. He handed me my drinks and immediately asked me to park at lane 3 (curbside pickup). (Reason why the line was moving quickly, everyone was being parked smh) I looked for lane 3 since I could not see it in front of me like the parking lanes usually are at McDonald's. I looked behind my vehicle and spotted it. Naturally I can't back up, and lane 1's car is in front of me backing out after having their food brought out, so after the 5 seconds it literally took me to find this spot and for the car in front to move the man says for the 3rd time now, "Mam park at lane 3! You need to pull around the building the spot is behind you." I slowly pull forward moving with car 1 when I hear him say, "What is wrong with people, am I not speaking English, God!"
I could not believe he was acting like that. I get he wants his window times to look great but that is not what parking people is supposed to be for. When my food was brought out, I confirmed with the man who brought it that window 2 was indeed management. My daughters meal didn't have any sauce and we were not given straws. I went in to get sauce and was asked for .25 cent. After leaving I noticed our fries were cold and my daughters nuggets were so hard she could only eat the center of them. I will not be visiting this location again. Get it together...
