I had a very disappointing experience at this Starbucks. I came in planning to meet a client to sign a contract and intended to purchase drinks once my client arrived. Before sitting down, I needed to use the restroom. Since the door was locked, I politely asked for the code. To my surprise, the barista asked if I was going to make a purchase first. Out of all the Starbucks I’ve visited, I have never been questioned like this. When I clarified whether I could use the restroom without buying something, the employee firmly told me, “No, our restrooms are for paying guests only.”
This felt rude and unnecessary, especially since I was prepared to order for myself and my client. At other locations, I’ve always been able to use the restroom, sit in the lobby, and even receive free water without issue—this has always been part of the Starbucks experience. I’ve spent quite a bit of money with the company over the years, and this location’s approach felt like poor customer service and inconsistent with Starbucks’ usual standards.
The employee also claimed that “all Starbucks are doing this,” which I know is not true based on my neighborhood store. It left me with the impression that this policy was tied more to the area, which feels discriminatory and disappointing. I plan to share this with corporate, as I believe Starbucks should uphold the same welcoming standards at...
Read moreUpdate (05/22/2025): Still weird acting and rude here. I don't know or care how you act at home, don't bring your attitude to me. Some goth looking tattooed armed girl was so rude to me when I asked her what a creme was. Like, what's the dang deal?? I just don't get it, do you want a tip or no??
I noticed people are kind of rude here unless corporate is there. Nobody greeted me when I came in and looked miserable. I get it. You're tired from your shift, and I came in to order a matcha and bagel 12 minutes before close. I am also getting a pick me up to go back to grinding 11 hours, and... I had NO idea this store closed so early... I tipped and said thank you to the cashier, anyway, because I respect the workers. Then I'm waiting and I didn't realize my bagel was done, and Starbucks worker (guy) walked close and advised me in a rude and abrupt way that the store is closing... like the way he said it literally startled me, and my immediate reaction was..."What!?" It shocked me. I'm not digging that. I work hard, dress nice, and am a paying customer; talk respectully to me. This is probably why I don't go to Starbucks often. That notion was just reinforced tonight....
Read moreAbsolute worst experience I’ve had at a Starbucks ever and I’m a daily visitor. I placed a mobile order and showed up in the drive through about 4-5 minutes later and was lectured by the women about placing orders and then coming to drive through so I asked if I could proceed to the next window and she said yes. I get to the window and she is once again lecturing me about not doing it and telling me I now have to wait 10 minutes for the order and roles her eyes at me and walks away. Younger brown/black hair heavier set lady. So I ask her if she could please get the coffees after I told her I understand then she proceeds to tell me to leave and I’m not getting anything. Very rude the entire interaction and very unprofessional. I went inside to better understand the issue and she walks to the back thank you to the other barista working who gave me my coffees great job sir. Management there are many bad reviews and complaints on this worker why is she still employed with you all? I will never...
