Chicken was really good... Follow up in Jacksonville NC… We drove 20 minutes out of the way to Popeyes. When we arrived, we could hear someone sneezing uncontrollably in the back (I asked if she was okay). The chicken was okay (slightly undercooked), the fries were a little better. My wife’s chicken had to be replaced with tenders (smelled bad after she took a bite). This is by far the worst Popeyes I have visited as it pertains to food & cleanliness. I will add that the customer service was great, the person who took our order was upbeat and pleasant. This is to hopefully get the owners attention and an unannounced visit. Photos added.

I'm really not one to complain or be a Karen, but I will NEVER eat at Popeyes again. I ordered a chicken nugget combo with mashed potatoes with a Dr pepper. The syrup in my drink was out, tasted like seltzer water. I didn't have a spoon for my mashed potatoes....so when I finally drove somewhere else in town just to grab a spoon to eat them, I bite into this. I am literally nauseous. This is completely ridiculous and unacceptable. Yall DON'T EVER eat here!!!!!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮

First and last experience at this Popeyes. Avoided it for years but went on a whim. Out of nuggets, fries where cold, then whatever this abomination of a spicy chicken sandwich is. It’s like they tried to find the biggest flat and curled tender and just slapped it on there calling it a chicken sandwich. What a waist of time and $$. I’ll forego the Popeyes and just stick to the five guys next door.

I had possibly one of the worse fast food experiences for the second time at this restaurant today. The first time was a couple months ago. I ordered a simple order of 2 chicken strip combos. Waited 40 minutes in my car for my food. Went inside to see what was going on and they had completely forgotten my order. Thankfully they apologized and compensated our order. Even after receiving the food the order was still wrong however. Today, the second bad experience, was very similar. My husband and I paid for our food in the drive thru and were told to pull up to wait for our tenders. We waited 30 minutes after pulling up until I had finally had enough. I went to walk inside and the worker finally came out to give us our food. I received the food only to discover it was someone else’s order. I had to back inside yet again to get the correct order. After complaining to three separate people and finally getting someone to help us we finally got our food. Though we finally received the correct food it was burnt to the point that it was inedible. All you could smell on the chicken was burnt oil so we couldn’t even eat our food. We received no apology for the wait or the incorrect order and no offer of a refund or compensation. They also gave the original food we had received to its rightful customer which I’m almost sure is a health code violation because it had already left the store & came back in. There’s a reason this place only has a 91 sanitation score. Absolutely disgusting restaurant and abhorrent customer service. I will never eat here again nor do I recommend others eating here. $20 out the window for food we...

This is a complaint against Popeyes as a whole. What kind of genius at your company thought it was a good idea to remove Cajun rice from the menu? It has been a staple item since 1972. That's like if McDonald's were to go "sorry, we don't serve our world-famous fries anymore. We know it's what people go to our restaurant for, but look at all the money we save as a company by not having to serve rice!" Do you think people go here for your cheap quality greasy chicken? Even KFC has better chicken than you. If I wanted good-tasting chicken, I would go to Chik Fil A. I go here for Cajun Rice and the chicken is something I tolerate and this is same for many others. Now there is literally no reason to go to your establishment, you know why? Because even Bojangles has enough common sense to keep Cajun Rice on their menu. Or let me guess, the real reason is because you can cut costs by removing rice from the menu. Then you have your employees pretend it was a limited-time item after you brought it back for the 50th anniversary yet you have been serving Cajun Rice since 1972. I mean what is wrong with these people? I am never stepping foot in your low-class, corner-cutting restaurant that has more fights going on than a Waffle House and you can't serve something basic like rice because it would cost you too much money to produce as opposed to your cheaply made plastic-tasting chicken. Just...

I've been in the Jacksonville area for about a year and 3 months at this point. Now I have officially given up on this Popeyes. When I was in California and New Mexico I used to go to Popeye's two or three times a week. Usually always got good food, fresh, accurate orders... Then I came here, I have never seen such an awful display. The employees are always horsing around. It seems like when they run out of a product, like spicy chicken strips for example, that they throw the opposite counterpart mild chicken strips And it's place to keep the flow of customers going through the drive-thru. I literally think they do this on purpose at this point because it has happened so many times. even had times where I went back with the mild chicken strips that they gave me that were fresh out of the grease and they replaced them with old dry nasty spicy chicken strips. Don't even get me started on the fries that I've gotten out of this place. I never leave without checking my order. but today the girl in the window seemed like she was on point plus there was nobody else there, made the mistake of trusting her then drove 15 minutes back to my house without checking my order just to find out yet again they gave me the mild version of what I wanted in spicy even though they rang it up correctly. I'm not going back anymore I've completely lost faith...
