Renna's Pizza — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Today my wife asked me if I wanted Rena's Pizza , with super excitement I said yes as it used to be my favorite pizza in Jacksonville. Well second to Cabos Pizza but they no longer with us. .

Well tonight they were slamming busy and had a big crowd. When I went to get my two pizzas, one Rena's specialty and one cheese Pizza. The cheese pizza was ok, but barely ok. It barely had cheese on it. But its for kids so it was ok.

Here is the real problem. The Rena's specialty pizza, it should be special. Its what i was excited about. But it was nothing special. It was skimpy it was garbage. A Walmart special is 100x more special then the Rena's specialty. This pizza had hardly anything on it. And what sucks is when i was picking up my pizza I saw a delicious looking specialty pizza go to someone else. I looked at the enployee and asked why my pizza was so skimpy and not look like the other guys. I was told because they got slammed with the cheerleaders that were there. I told her I was not in a hurry I could wait for them to remake my pizza. I was told that was not an option. For 50.00 for two pizzas it should be an option. I could of got a better pizza from frozen food isle for 5.00. We chose Rena's because they used to have great pizza. And when yall take time to make you do. I visited the Location Argyle Forrest location I was hurt and disappointed as I was expecting the greatness I normally do but was given big disappointments. We can get cheap pizzas at walmart feozen food. We get average pizza at Pizza places. When we go to Rena's we expect spectacular pizza and we pay a premium price. Today we got worse then the cheap frozen pizza for the...

This place is by far one of if not the best pizza places in Jacksonville, Florida. Especially on the Westside.....

The only (2) issues that I have with them is that they

Number 1: STILL don't have a delivery driver. It's been at least 8 months and nothing. Hell if I wasn't paralyzed I would delivery for this company myself...... That's just how good they are!!!!!

Number 2: They don't do curbside pickup. It's nothing special or different that they have to do is have the custoner pay for it online or via phone and then have the customer pull up to the curb and bring it out to the car.... Come on, get with the times, its 2020 and during Coronavirus 2020..... I would eat at this place every other day if the did curbside pickup.

I'm a disabled wheelchair bound Vet and I've actually been inside their establishment a couple of time and dealt with Tiffany (WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE).

Whenever they did deliver, they didn't delivery to my area (off of Old Middleburg and Noroad) because it was just a block outside their delivery area (which I get) and I was even willing to pay the delivery driver a damn good tip.

And before anyone says anything, none of the delivery services will deliver to my address from this establishment because they are not part of any delivery service.

I get it that its all about SAFETY....... just at least look into the curbside is all I'm asking for. Thanks.

I'm not going to put them down or underrate then just for that. I'm sure I'm in the same boat with alot of people who enjoy eating at the establishment.

Other than that I can only relate to the pizza!!!! Off the hook and loaded with...

Sat down for dinner as we are waiting for our dinner to be prepared we heard sneezing coming from behind the counter , naturally I look.

The girl making the pies was having a sneezing fit. Did she excuse herself? NO Did she shield her sneeze using the bend of her arm? NO Did she cover her sneeze with a tissue? NO She did however sneeze on whom ever pie she was making.She did sneeze on all the open ingredients. To make matters worse ...yes it gets worse , she grabs the top part of her her shirt at the neckline and wipes her snot as if it was Kleenex then continues to spread the cheese out on the pie.

When I got up and said I'm sorry I can't eat pizza from someone who has just had a sneezing fit , blows her nose on her shirt and does not wash her hands , her response ..I use my shirt whats the big deal ???? I said you just wiped your snot with your shirt and handled food.

Needless to say we walked out and will never return. This situation could of been handled in a professional manner and this review would of never been posted.

If the customer says I would prefer it if you washed your hands before preparing my meal, go wash your hands. I can't believe I argued with an adult in the kitchen preparing food about washing hands after sneezing and blowing your nose. I felt like I was talking to...
