Subway — Restaurant in Jacksonville

I went in to buy lunch around 1pm on Tuesday 4/8/25. No one was there and there was a sandwich half being prepared on the counter. Two female employees were arguing when I walked in. One of the girls saw me and said I’ll be with you in a minute. She continued arguing with the other employee, leaving the sandwich unfinished just sitting out on the counter and leaving me waiting to order. A guy came to pick up his sandwich. That was the one sitting there ever since I walked in. He told her he was there to pick up the sandwich she came over and put some mayo on it then left the sandwich and started arguing again. They got to yelling at each other very loudly. The guy that was waiting on his sandwich shook his head. I told him they had been arguing for the last 10 minutes telling me to wait. I said I’m not waiting anymore so they can fight. I told him that his sandwich had been sitting there 1/2 finished for at least ten minutes and I walked out. I’m not sure if the guy stayed or left. I called back to talk to the manager and the number would not go through. It may be out of service. I own a business near by and we use to get subway from this subway. There are other subways around that you don’t have to experience this kind of behavior. Please get this...

My husband and I stopped in this evening at 8:45pm, this store closes at 10pm mind you & when I told them I wanted a meatball footlong sub....guess what l was told???? That the meatballs were out for the nite & the ovens were off already!!! Now I've been coming too this Subway for many many many years now & this was the 1st I've EVER before 9pm been told this!!! I'm very upset that they refused too make my sub & was basically closing the store early!!! We weren't the only customer in the store either!!! This needs too be corrected immediately!!! I will speaking with the manager in the mornin in regards too this policy that the employees said was the reason why they were refusing too make my meatball sub!!! I do know the manager of the store from going in there for so long!!! If you're gonna have operating hours from certain times & sell food....then EVERYTHING on the menu should be available til the doors are locked!!! You should allow your employees enough hours too close the store after the doors are locked too the public NOT allow them too start shutting down during normal business hours!!! Not happy. I ordered my sandwich via the app and arrived early. I went in at 7 minutes before the promised time of 1:45. There were only a few people in line but that line quickly grew.after a couple of minutes the guy at the register looked at me and said to the other guy that the online order would be here in 5 and we should get started on it. Eventually, after about four sandwiches and a salad, he did and I realized partway into it that he was making a sandwich from a printout and no one in front of him. I would have already been home had I ordered when I got there and had gotten in line. I recognized the ingredients and determined it was my sandwich. I wish I'd payed attention earlier because when I got home I found that it was not toasted--my husband's must-have--and had no cheese--my must-have. I checked my watch when I got my sandwich and turned to walk out the door. 1:49. Four minutes after it was promised, more than twenty after it was ordered. That makes three strikes. All in one visit.
